I recently had to change screen but I think I damaged the on/off power button some how it doesn't click anymore you should be able to use that power button even if the back of phone off right? Great video and thanks for your help. Dave

It just happened to me this morning for my S21 and I'm super happy that it worked, but now I'm curious as to why it started acting this way. I had my phone set on a wireless charging plate overnight; when I woke up, the phone was like this.
I've noticed that the charging plate has been starting to act up lately and doesn't always get my phone to a full charge, so I wonder if its inconsistent charging was the cause of this glitch. Maybe the charge started kicking in just as the battery died, causing the phone to get stuck?

maybe it was because of the heat? i used to have a wireless charger as well, but learned that it isnt good for your phone to leave it for long periods of time, it caused me multiple over-heating situations
