Hey Robby and crew this is Morgan, the guy who gave you the spade. In the future when you use the spade tilt the wheel lift all the way down and then lower it down, and if Fred still wants to slide back pick your boom up a bit. Also you need to flip the spade around so the flat part is at the back, we put it on wrong at the games.
Man that King Fred has to be the most handy Ford on the road. Haha. He has definitely earned the right to be fixed up! Can't wait to see it happen. Well done!
Yes, King Fred needs to be restored to its original state! With a little Cummins upgrade, with solid axils and four link suspension. It’s great to see channels collaborating to make great Videos!
Ha! Husband's comment the minute he saw all the heavy equipment.... " this is why you should never leave even grown men alone with heavy machinery , because we immediately become 5 years old again and end up exactly as seen there"... lol😂😂😂
I'm sure it's been said 30 times already but, flip that blade 180 degrees and it will bite. You want the flat part towards the direction that you're pulling in.
I know I've mentioned I drove a Ford tow truck 1tonne years ago , and you almost getting stuck but not ...reminded me how ridiculously hard it was too get stuck, I was very impressed and it never disappointed me on winter recovery. Once I had to tow a vehicle to a guys house and drop it in his backyard garage...it had a slope up to the entrance and a chain link fence on the opposite side, that was the first time I realized just how much control it had and I miss the truck. You driving Fred makes my heart smile. And I know that if you guys stunned that engine up it would have all the power you could ever want. Remember stray away from all that computer garbage amap. 😁 Ps the truck I drove was just a 4 speed dually no 4x4...you kids don't know how nice you have it. I've only had one 4x4 In my life and it was too small for my body 94 Subaru it was ok until I needed to actually drive the thing and then it was like being in a clown car. Lol
Without actually looking at it in person it looks like your new spike might be more effective if it can be flipped around (angle looks backward). Great job getting the white truck out! Looked a little iffy at first LOL!
FANTASTIC Recoveries at the MUD HOLE!!! SUPER GREAT Recovery on the SNOW Hill w/Fred, Bronc Star companion, with Hillbilly, Colton (such a great addition to the team) & awesome Chief Running Horse Robby!
That Fred's a great wrecker. Is that attachment on the right way round? It looks like it would dig in more the other way round. I could be wrong. I'm a arm chair recovery expert, after all. Great upload, guys
I'll tell ya what I'd like to see... I'd love to see a shiny Silver paint job on the 57 Chevy you built with Summett Racing ! You can paint the Boss's project later.. Thanks from SC..
That was awesome! Can't wait to see those machines doing more recoveries. I would like to see smaller spades tested on other recovery vehicles like the jeep or the tow truck. Drop down spades like those on an M109 howi but obviously not as heavy. 😊
Wow that was impressive ✓ From the pictures I was thinking y'all would have to dig them out first . And the Peck Brothers are cool and built some nice things .
Robby’s safety crocks make him blend in with every truck driver you will encounter at the truck stop. Just add a safety vest and a Bluetooth headset and the camouflage would be complete.
Hey Robby. You installed the stinger claw backwards. Look at it in the video. You have it facing forward. Turn it around so it digs just like the winches on the bob cats.
Having the BronkStar, and not needing it, is like having a fire extinguisher. If you have it, you won't need it. If you Don't have it, you will DESPERATLEY need it.
Boss, Robby...King Fred eats gas, his engine is heavy, old and an inefficient design...he needs an LS2 with LS3 heads (and the corresponding intake manifold) and he'll be a good running, powerful, work brute.
I have always operated under the feeling that your company equipment represents your company as a whole. If your recovery vehicle (King Fred in this case) doesn't look good, it looks like a reflection on how you operate business. Don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about a show truck and I realize that you have 100 irons in the fire but Fred can make Robbie Layton nation look better.
Robby; Learn to use your Boom’s added leverage in winching. As an example when Fishing you can use your arm’s leverage in reeling in your catch. Also, you could have doubled up your winch line through a snatch block at that pickup’s bumper and back to your boom. 😃
Daves skid steer is "The Guy she tells you not to worry about." It's official promise them fresh corn dogs and both will come running. Especially if you promise Dave a deep fried oreo.

BAHAHAAA!!!!!
You put it on back wards haha but we are very aware it’s on backwards so we leave it for comments :)
@@RobbyLayton haha cool
Dude , this recovery earned a hoody payment the next a tee shirt the following a blue and silver camo hat (hint hint)😎😁😂
Morgan deserves another hat/T-shirt.
Man that King Fred has to be the most handy Ford on the road. Haha. He has definitely earned the right to be fixed up! Can't wait to see it happen. Well done!
Thank you!!!
Yeah buddy!!
A nice upgrade would be a Godzilla motor, super charged! Gotta keep up with Chad.
It's time for Fred to get some love.
@@RobbyLayton when you treating Fred to a nice Blue paint job and mirrors ?? 😂
King Fred deserves a good restoration. It's functional now but it needs to look the part. Cheers.
Robby has a problem finishing things these days.
But the 460 should stay but give it some love , just ask hillbilly, he's not dumb
Turn the anchor attachment around and it will dig in better guys.
I was gonna say just this.
@@JustCameronAndHisJeep me too,
Great job you all the way to assist Heavy D also great job on the Ford and yes you need to make Fred look nice and paint him.
Love the change in content. Its nice every once in a while.
Yes, King Fred needs to be restored to its original state! With a little Cummins upgrade, with solid axils and four link suspension. It’s great to see channels collaborating to make great Videos!
Lockers for Fred. He deserves the best. 🙂
Ha! Husband's comment the minute he saw all the heavy equipment.... " this is why you should never leave even grown men alone with heavy machinery , because we immediately become 5 years old again and end up exactly as seen there"... lol😂😂😂
I'm failing to see anything wrong with that!
Looking forward to seeing your colors on King Fred. Thanks for sharing
I'm sure it's been said 30 times already but, flip that blade 180 degrees and it will bite. You want the flat part towards the direction that you're pulling in.
I was gonna say the same thing.
just about to say the same thing maybe they do it on wrong knowing people will comment lol
samething i was gonna say😂
I wasn't going to say the same thing, at all.
He knows but he don't care.😁
YAY , King Fred would look mighty proud fixed up
I know I've mentioned I drove a Ford tow truck 1tonne years ago , and you almost getting stuck but not ...reminded me how ridiculously hard it was too get stuck, I was very impressed and it never disappointed me on winter recovery. King Fred needs a 7.3 Godzila motor with a Whipple Supercharger. And then let the Fun Begin. 👊
Good job guys! Fred deserves a face -lift!
Awesome job boys! Fred is turning into your king recovery rig, better show it some love and get it looking sweet!!
Love the crocs. People want to hate them, but they are super comfortable and quick to put on. Love the channel!
And as Matt says, the crocs come with holes for a place for your dignity to leak out. Good one.
Youve got the anchor attachment backward. It'll work even better turned around
We know who put that on.
Without actually looking at it in person it looks like your new spike might be more effective if it can be flipped around (angle looks backward). Great job getting the white truck out! Looked a little iffy at first LOL!
Awesome heavy equipment extraction with Dave's heavy machinery the main attraction.
Great team work Robby,Colt and Hillbilly
Fred is working hard so one day he can get promoted to a blue and gray paint job.
FANTASTIC Recoveries at the MUD HOLE!!! SUPER GREAT Recovery on the SNOW Hill w/Fred, Bronc Star companion, with Hillbilly, Colton (such a great addition to the team) & awesome Chief Running Horse Robby!
Fun watching you all
Working together
Busy one, love Fred, he gets better every year.❤

Need to make Fred look great!
My old stomping ground …. My ranch was in good old Downey, just a hop skip and jump away…👍👍
This videos proves if you have the right equipment for the job, it goes quick and smoothly! Good job everyone!!
It warms my heart when my favorite TH-cam's collab.
The Broncstar needs a better cooling fan. DD Speed Shop put a great one on their 55 Nomad, and it stayed cool in slow traffic on Power Tour.
Yes Fred needs a redo and give your guys a raise.
Great job, everyone! Thanks for sharing!
Hell yeah brother
Thanks for sharing !
Colton and hillbilly made the show fun again
Dave I was singing the song in my head before you said it! Ice ice baby! Good collaboration. Robby & Heavy D crews rock!
"The plan is to make a plan."
Yeah, sounds like a solid plan to me! 😁😁😁
If you turn the wheel lift chock around it will work better. Keep up the good work.
Interesting mix today! Have a great weekend LAB crew!
Yeah Robbie, you blew it . Dave set you up with easy one. 😂
Great collaboration! Great video!
So cool to see everyone 👍
King Fred has most definitely has earned his upgrade.,
Please finish king Fred 🙏 that truck has been a work horse and deserves the attention.
Classic Heavy D video, I'm at 6 min in and we are finally getting started.
looks like the stinger bracket was on backwards, allowing it to slide a little
Yes I noticed that. The angle causes it to "Cam " and lift.
Fred already looks good. Now you can make him look great! And the hydraulic winch for the win!
Looks like King Fred needs some lockers. The minor upgrades to the boom and base platform really helped in that recovery. Great stuff watching though.
Absolutely give fred some much deserved love!!!
So glad to see you using snatch blocks to improve your winch capacity. Yes, please give King Fred a makeover!
Robbie rules !
Yes robby, i qould live to see you give king fred some upgrades, suspension, tires, a bigger engine, and furlel tank.
Love the old red truck with the white top.
Yes Robby you really should paint your fleet. You should be rolling around in perfectly painted vehicles so people can see your work.
I'll tell ya what I'd like to see... I'd love to see a shiny Silver paint job on the 57 Chevy you built with Summett Racing ! You can paint the Boss's project later.. Thanks from SC..
Good job Fred. 👍👍
Great job guys. Thank you 😊

King Fred gonna need some cup holders
Good video got to love those Peck Brothers they know how and who to call to help.
Wow that was impressive ✓ From the pictures I was thinking y'all would have to dig them out first . And the Peck Brothers are cool and built some nice things .

He has the headset...
Glad you guys enjoyed Idaho!
Fred deserves that much.
Robby Layton the A team !
Fred is the MVP today. See if Fred can drag the truck around.
Always exciting when you get to play real life Tonka.
Great video, looking forward to the next adventure
Definitely need to see King Fred fully restored in the Robby styling.
Awesome job everyone, that was the fastest recovery yet lol 😀👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Good to see the Peck Brothers getting a channel boost.
Hey Robby. You installed the stinger claw backwards. Look at it in the video. You have it facing forward. Turn it around so it digs just like the winches on the bob cats.
Excellent work guys
You need to make the snow cat look good
i agree ...... Bombie needs a good paint job also
Another Great Video 👍 Great content, keep up the great work!
think you need to modify that blade a bit. it need to be angled backwards so it dig itself in as you pull
ROAD SNACKS in the old days those came in a red and white cans, lol
Can’t wait for the King Fred build! It needs a new power plant bad!
Having the BronkStar, and not needing it, is like having a fire extinguisher. If you have it, you won't need it. If you Don't have it, you will DESPERATLEY need it.
hahahahaha Colton" pretty shabby!" lol
Fred’s needs some love
Boss, Robby...King Fred eats gas, his engine is heavy, old and an inefficient design...he needs an LS2 with LS3 heads (and the corresponding intake manifold) and he'll be a good running, powerful, work brute.
Great job again.

Once again Fine Job Gentlemen, and yes i think King Fred Deserves to be fixed up. GO KING FRED LOL. Thanks for the video guy's.
This is you. That is the guy she told you not to worry about!
blessings folks
Yes, King Fred deserves to look good.

Wow what a offer to pull you out..happy campers and corn dogs
Ditto on what 2TheMinecraftMak said. Turn the spade around and down on the wheel lift and up on the boom.
Great video we can’t wait for King Fred’s its overhaul
Daves skid steer is "The Guy she tells you not to worry about."
It's official promise them fresh corn dogs and both will come running. Especially if you promise Dave a deep fried oreo.
Robby and ya’ll rock.
However this pinto never looks but too old. My vote is make Freddy look good to show him that we care
You need to paint king Fred the Robbie Layton blue. That would be cool 😊
Teamwork helps. It helps. Buuut, if you had the right tools & equipment for the job, then you can accomplish anything.
Crocs and girl socks. You go Robbie .
Yes 👍
Nice hat tip to Vanilla Ice !!
I always enjoy your videos you guys are the best
I can watch EVERY day
Wow this bites , we can't afford to be a premium channel member. So guess we're going to wait on the free stuff to post .😮
Hey Robby, them's some c'Rockin' shoes for a muddy recovery.
