So, I've been thinking about the Next Costumer show and I came up with something. What if at the end of every season their theme is based on an upcoming movie and whoever wins gets their costume in the movie. Also, I realized the judge's opinions can be lame, so the people watching get to vote.
Watching Micarah use hot glue to finish getting ruffles on the dress has the same energy as me increasing the font size of the periods and commas in my essay to hit that 10 page minimum.
At first I was thinking “well it’s basically just a white table cloth so the video would be very short and pretty self explanatory.” But then I remembered she actually wears a huge dress at the end 😂🤦🏽♀️

I watched your prom dresses video like 15 times, and then I sewed my daughter a fancy high-low dress. :D It actually turned out pretty great. No one at her birthday knew it was handmade.

Kelly Sheridan's voice was perfect for Barbie. Her voice was mature enough that kids could look up her, and was sweet and kind enough while still sounding natural. Erica Lindbeck does do a good job, and I love some of her other work, but her Barbie just feels a bit too young for me

I believe they also line up for other thrones, but I‘m not sure. I went to school with some kids from former noble families (there are no noble families by law anymore) and each of them exactly knew in which place their family members where.

I all honesty, I feel Barbie is more historically accurate in terms of clothing than Disney. Yet Disney gets more recognition on their Princess's dresses ((which are barely historically accurate)) than Barbie's (mostly) accurate portrayals of women and men in said time period
Disney just kinda pretends all their princesses are from a weird timeless dimension. Apparently they aren't ever "trying" to put their princesses in a specific time era so they have free reign over costuming. However, this excuse fell apart when they tried to make the new beauty and the beast movie set in the baroque era, and they still did a bad job. Not to mention all their stories are stolen from original fairy tales that can most of the time be traced back to a original form, thus giving them a time period. It's all about money, and they know a generic ball gown sells.
Disney princesses minus mulan and Tiana are just bunch of helpless pansies who need a Prince Charming to come riding in on a white stallion to save the day. on the other hand, barbie movies are always so unique and preach about friendship and women being bad bitches. we Stan barbie and barbie alone c:

Same, I watched her princess dress videos and holiday Barbie videos before sewing my own princess dress, and I got so many compliments! She is a great teacher! I’m not good with patterning and that sort of stuff, but her „just do it“ attitude really shows that you can make good stuff regardless!

Kelly Sheridan's voice was perfect for Barbie. Her voice was mature enough that kids could look up her, and was sweet and kind enough while still sounding natural. Erica Lindbeck does do a good job, and I love some of her other work, but her Barbie just feels a bit too young for me

I’m not so distantly related to Queen Victoria. My great grandad was the illegitimate child of the duke of Windsor (descendant from old queen vic) and he was adopted because nobody wanted anyone to know that the duke of Windsor was a player and slept with all the maids. TsukiKabanoki Actually the German royalty does line up for the British throne. The Windsors were named „Saxe-Coburg and Gotha“ until 1917, which is the name of a noble family from Germany. Georg V. changed the family name during WWI (we all can imagine why). But the first potential heir to the throne from Germany is in place 160 or something, so chances are low. I believe they also line up for other thrones, but I‘m not sure. I went to school with some kids from former noble families (there are no noble families by law anymore) and each of them exactly knew in which place their family members where.
Same thing for me except I'm descended from a queen of Spain.

I all honesty, I feel Barbie is more historically accurate in terms of clothing than Disney. Yet Disney gets more recognition on their Princess's dresses ((which are barely historically accurate)) than Barbie's (mostly) accurate portrayals of women and men in said time period

Disney just kinda pretends all their princesses are from a weird timeless dimension. Apparently they aren't ever "trying" to put their princesses in a specific time era so they have free reign over costuming. However, this excuse fell apart when they tried to make the new beauty and the beast movie set in the baroque era, and they still did a bad job. Not to mention all their stories are stolen from original fairy tales that can most of the time be traced back to a original form, thus giving them a time period. It's all about money, and they know a generic ball gown sells.
Disney princesses minus mulan and Tiana are just bunch of helpless pansies who need a Prince Charming to come riding in on a white stallion to save the day. on the other hand, barbie movies are always so unique and preach about friendship and women being bad bitches. we Stan barbie and barbie alone c:
