Very negative experiences. Most recently, they sent tons of titles automatically (not opt-in, but opt-out) to a low-standards TH-cam channel, then doubled down and boasted about how great of an opportunity that is for filmmakers...who can upload to their own channels, or worse, already had, with a duplicate upload further damaging the algorithm. Filmhub's customer support pretends kindness but is very passive-aggressive and takes no responsibility for platform bugs and faults. They also discriminate in favor of certain content and will largely do nothing to get titles onto major platforms besides...yep, TH-cam.
This guy is just giving away solid gold! So many people talking nonsense online, or worse, they make you jump through hoops just to get a little bit of information...but this guy, just pure gold. Bless this man!
I find it so ironic that this dude doesn’t have millions of subs. Most filmmakers would rather watch a video about the latest gear than learn how to actually make movie money with it 🤷🏾
This is exactly why. Because most people will make an average film, then when it doesn't do well they will be like 'If we shot this with a BMCG it would have got into more festivals'.
So thankful for this channel, I’m currently in the process of branching out of TH-cam as a filmmaker, so learning from these other filmmakers is so valuable ❤❤❤
I think this is the start of how independent film makers can have an easier time monetizing their work. Instead of doing the tradition film circuit beats in hopes of “catching the eye” of a distributor or big studio willing to pick it up. I think it just goes to show that the model of your mega studios controlling everything is slowly dying as the tech and quality becomes more affordable to those with the will/skill/time/money to make films. I have seen many short films and even full length films that are vastly superior to a lot of crap being churned out by major studios, but they just don’t currently (looks to be changing) have the power to get it out to the masses. Exciting times to see where this disruptive tech is heading.
Have you used Filmhub? What do you like about the service?
I'm going through the process right now. Seems to work well, but having issues getting the .srt file through QC, but Film Hub is being quite helpful.

Never, seems like a wholesale. What about for scripts, I'm looking where or who to reach out to?

How can you not love this guy?
J Horton, everyone's favorite Film Courage guest.
I watch videos about making movies that make money.

It will end up being controlled by Disney, Warner Bros or some other tech giant or something eventually anyway.
Finally! An eye-opener!
Filmhub changed the font on the cover of my film... Ouch! Roll with it...
j horton is the fu**ing man!!!
Cheers Andrea!
Excellent! Thank you!
Is this a new interview?
Yes! His older interview is here: buff.ly/4hj3ERj Thanks for watching. :)
LOVE
How does this compare to Bitmax?
I wonder how AI effects the aggregation for film distribution.
Is this an ad?
No. It's a how stuff works
Pretty much. Filmhub strategically puts a lot into brand image and damage control, but it's basically where your film goes to die.
No this is propaganda. Ever see one of this idiots "80+ films"?
The guy is an obvious hack. Hack. Hack. Hack.
