Can we just stop with this stereotype of having the main lead end up with the female lead and all? I mean we won't mind a plot twist where it's important to have one. We all want the writers to surprise us because c'mon we all know Ji Pyeong is the one Dalmi loved all the way. It was him, in the letters. She loved the boy in the letters who is technically Ji Pyeong minus the name. Ji Pyeong always had her back and will continue doing so, his small gestures for her. Everything.

AGREE LEVEL 100%, I don't feel any chemistry between Dosan and Dalmi. But when it comes to Ji Pyeong and Dalmi even their eye contacts burn a whole in my heart! Their chemistry is off the roof! Ohmygod
The thing is, Dosan's face looks young plus his naive character makes him have this cute feel. Meanwhile Dalmi has a mature face and aura which is the same for jipyeong that is why the second lead has MUCH MOREEEEE chemistry. Let's also talk about their character's personality: Jipyeong is practical and cautious, while Dalmi has a big vision and always on the go, very optimistic. Their personalities complement as well!!! Even when it's kind of obvious who Dalmi will end with, I could say that this is the only drama that I rooted for the second lead more, honestly.
He should never have kissed her back. That was like cheating her .... he should have complete truth between them ... only then should he kiss her. That’s what upset me !!! She is entitled to love who she wants in the present , which could be either male lead at the moment. However her belief in him I’d not based in fact which is the big problem for me!!!!

He's a second lead for a reason and that is to support the two main leads to become successful in starting up their business/own businesses in the future. I actually imagine the endgame to be like this: Woninjae as a successful CEO, this time through her own hard work, competence and without the help of his step dad, Dosan being successful with his friends with a possibility of making it a global success with the help of Alex, earning back his parents' respect and finally be proud of him. Jipyeong who is now actually successful, will finally have his own true family with Dalmi and haelmoni, Haelmoni realising her wish of having jipyeong as her own true son/grandson, and Dalmi being a successful CEO, earning back her family (injae and her mom), and of course having her first and one great love. It may look like a biased theory from a JiDal shipper, but it's actually not. Think of their main struggle/main goal in life at the beginning: Injae wanting to be recognized and being credited for her own capabilities, Dosan and his friends wanting to successful and be truly acknowledge by his parents, Haelmoni wishing to have known JP earlier so as if she can act as his own mom and wanting Dalmi's happiness, JP growing up as an orphan, he really needs to have his own true family & his true love, Dalmi wanting to be successful, marry the love of her life and have her family back. See? I just gave them the happy ending. I mean, if everybody's happy, then why not? PS. I really ship Dosan with Saha more. Their constant bickering with each other is too cute for me. Also, Saha is part of the cast for a reason. 😉 Chulsan-Yongsan endgame too. 😁

Fantastic drama with so much emotions involved.Nice story and script.All the cast of Start up acted very nicely.Main characters all the 4 are awesome.Nam Jo looks very cute more matured in this drama.Bae Suzy so much involved in the character.Han acted like a typical software CEO.Last but not least Kim SEO dimple and good boy fantastic acting❤️❤️❤️,he totally nailed the character.

I just watched today's episode and I gave up 😷 I just wished that in the end, with or without Dalmi, Jipyeong will find his happiness. I wished that he won't be left alone at the end of the story. I really want to jump into the drama and give him a tight hug. He is the best gentleman character I have ever watched in a Korean drama for all 20 years being a fan of it. I don't believe that such an amazing writer write this story and create an amazing character like Han Ji Pyeong will mess it up. 😂
I hope the writer will not hurt Jipeong at the end of the series... Don't give false hope then futile at the end... Jipeong is a good boy and good person.
The last drama that a felt this second lead syndrome so intense was also a Nam Joo Hyuk's drama (who are you: School 2015). Sungjae e Han JiPyeong deserved better endings

For me, that change was very gratifying, the scriptwriter challenged my imagination and I loved it. I just watched today's episode and I gave up 😷 I just wished that in the end, with or without Dalmi, Jipyeong will find his happiness. I wished that he won't be left alone at the end of the story. I really want to jump into the drama and give him a tight hug. He is the best gentleman character I have ever watched in a Korean drama for all 20 years being a fan of it. I don't believe that such an amazing writer write this story and create an amazing character like Han Ji Pyeong will mess it up. 😂
