You have a very low bar for what you consider to be a hero. The hospital workers that work 16 hour shifts regularly, saving the lives of the anti-maskers and anti-vaxers while wearing masks the entire time mind you, are heroes. I am not a trucker, I work for a call center and have been working from home for 2 years. Yet the company I work from is sending out surveys about if you are or not vaccinated. I refused to fill it out and now I am in a list to be let go of I am not vaccinated. So when I lose my job, working from home, I will lose my apt too and be homeless! How is this okay? I am 57 years old, what do I do. So I will be forced to get vaccinated if I want to keep working or face homelessness! I am terrified

We're in the middle of an instinctive, biological rebellion going on against society's tamping down of individuality, as happened in the 60s and 70s. When that happens, the participants in the backlash cant handle having to part ways with collective society, and in their confusion and resentment, they resort to trying to take the easy way out--namely, opposing anything and everything that society is deemed to stand for, good, bad or indifferent, which is why there are so many people willing to risk their lives (and even lose them) to the virus. It also explains the radicals in congress. They lost the society they had, but thought that they could find fulfillment in the Republican party. But they cant escape their own bent against collective society, which means that they're at each other's throats, as a result. Trump merely catalyzed and took advantage of the times by shooting for the office of president simply for the sake of staying one step ahead of the law, and trying to remain there, if possible. I see him as a "bubble boy", but not necessarily one of the radicals himself. How does this end? The solution is to actually respect the radicals by NOT taking their posturing as actual beliefs or opinions. Respect is reflecting a person back to him or herself, and posturing obviously doesnt at all necessarily reflect a person's actual beliefs and opinions. Conversely, the more their posturing is taken to be actual opinions and beliefs, the longer this mess will continue. Someday, a new equilibrium will be reached and the radicals will be re-absorbed into the new equilibrium, and the cycle will begin again. In the meantime, how do we get them to search out for themselves what they REALLY want and believe before something worse happens?

I am not a trucker, I work for a call center and have been working from home for 2 years. Yet the company I work from is sending out surveys about if you are or not vaccinated. I refused to fill it out and now I am in a list to be let go of I am not vaccinated. So when I lose my job, working from home, I will lose my apt too and be homeless! How is this okay? I am 57 years old, what do I do. So I will be forced to get vaccinated if I want to keep working or face homelessness! I am terrified

We're in the middle of an instinctive, biological rebellion going on against society's tamping down of individuality, as happened in the 60s and 70s. When that happens, the participants in the backlash cant handle having to part ways with collective society, and in their confusion and resentment, they resort to trying to take the easy way out--namely, opposing anything and everything that society is deemed to stand for, good, bad or indifferent, which is why there are so many people willing to risk their lives (and even lose them) to the virus. It also explains the radicals in congress. They lost the society they had, but thought that they could find fulfillment in the Republican party. But they cant escape their own bent against collective society, which means that they're at each other's throats, as a result.
Trump merely catalyzed and took advantage of the times by shooting for the office of president simply for the sake of staying one step ahead of the law, and trying to remain there, if possible. I see him as a "bubble boy", but not necessarily one of the radicals himself.
How does this end? The solution is to actually respect the radicals by NOT taking their posturing as actual beliefs or opinions. Respect is reflecting a person back to him or herself, and posturing obviously doesnt at all necessarily reflect a person's actual beliefs and opinions. Conversely, the more their posturing is taken to be actual opinions and beliefs, the longer this mess will continue.
Someday, a new equilibrium will be reached and the radicals will be re-absorbed into the new equilibrium, and the cycle will begin again. In the meantime, how do we get them to search out for themselves what they REALLY want and believe before something worse happens?

Yes, it's about an end to mandates, covid or otherwise. So many people are feeling that there has been an overreach by our government/s which needs addressing. The mandates are there for businesses over 100 people, and for some government employees, and a lot of people have lost their jobs over their choice not to have or risk the jabs.
So, why don't they just pull themselves up by their bootstraps and start their own companies so they don't have to follow the mandates?

Not to mention mandates are not in effect for truckers nor have they ever been. The only mandates that are required or when you cross borders into other countries. And those other countries do have the right to mandate you be vaccinated if they like. Just like the US should be able to mandate it. But the US has not mandated it. Now for government officials or government workers yes they have they have because our government must work at its highest capacity. But you guys make something of nothing constantly. Between mandates of getting vaccinated which doesn't exist, or critical race theory which doesn't get taught in public schools, or border crisis which even our own national guard says is not happening down there because when they are down there supposedly guarding the border all they're doing is kicking up grass and watching it grow. You guys listen to bad information coming from terrible news sources and you guys want to sit there and act as though you're doing something for the people. You are not. You are basically just creating a scene for yourself to try to act as though you're drawing attention to a problem that actually does not exist. And you should be ashamed of yourselves.
