I usually just keep sets together and put them away in storage boxes. Occasionally I’ll get them out for people looking for base or giveaways. But you’re right. I’ve got a ton of base cards.

I liked the cracked ice but they are way more common now, so it sorta devalued them.

I'd say the best thing about blasters is that they are affordable. Not everyone is willing to spend a huge amount on a hobby box although I have spent a decent amount on various boxes because I collect a wide variety of trading cards. Sometimes you just want to pick up some cheap packs and see what you find to add to the collection. I've gotten decent hits from blasters from both ufc and nhl but not on the level that you would get from a hobby box. Blasters are great for people that are low on cash or that just want to add to their collection though, especially since other ufc boxes get pretty expensive. Hopefully the hits get better as they release more sets. Loved the video though. Just started collecting again not too long ago and the types of cards can get confusing so finding out what the different cards look like and are called definitely helps. Sports cards have changed so much from the way they used to be.
I agree, but I’ve gotta let people know that the best cards don’t come from these. And they come from hobby. There’s always ways of buying single packs and breaks where you’re not actually buying the full hobby box. Just be careful because it can add up. I appreciate you stopping by and commenting Brotha! retail has been excellent for me mostly & i dont buy singles cause the way i see it there always going to be cards that i would love to have whether its ufc, wwe, nba, nfl, & even pokemon but i know i pull it i wont

@TheGoldenOctagon I've opened about 20 blasters of them this year and that with a couple other smaller cards have been my only hits. But the Hasbulla is a massive hit, all I'm saying is the hits are their but if you get one or not that's another story. But that's the hobby as a whole for any sport, you could pull a $10,000 card or totally bust. That's the fun in it 👍🏻.

Hobby is always the way to go, Little to be had in blasters.
With my base cards. I just make the full base set in a binder. The extras, I give away or put in storage.

Also, you don’t HAVE to buy boxes. Check out eBay for single cards at good prices, that’ll also give you an idea of what things are worth $ wise.

its too bad they didnt go the same route as the Optic 2022 football blasters that just came out. Everyone is raving about them. People are pulling downtowns like every 10 boxes it seems. They added a new case hit too, Blazers, there is so much color and autos in the blasters people are wondering why to even buy the hobby boxes. I would buy a ton of the UFC if it was similar.
I’m just hoping we eventually get there. I don’t think our sport is big enough yet.
