Jeff, another amazing build, this helicopter 🚁 is a real Frankenstein, with Kraken tail parts and all of the custom made billet aluminum / carbon fiber parts, X-Nova motor with your channels name on it, look 👀 out Tareq Alsaadi there’s a new helicopter king. 🤣😂 Totally cool 😎 rotracting landing skid 👍🏻

This is one of them! The other one will be shown very soon lol max head speed is 2800 to 3000 RPM right around there. It’s a monster!

I hope one day to own a goblin comet, i have a mini comet right now but i really just dont see me being able to find a comet that easily, the mini comet was rare enough as it was
nice video, perfect fly , no oneway .... at start i am at 1900 RMP , i add more gain to tail too , less gain in bank 2 then 3

Hey Jeff . Nice shirt . So with out the one way Bering when cutting power the Torq of the blades take over . So you have to cut power when on the ground .

@@lev_on_heli they did an incredible job designing these mechanics. I can’t wait for the next time out to give it all the power and see what it’ll do. It is very strange to not have a one-way bearing on a large sized helicopter. It’s definitely gonna take some getting used to lol
@@westhobbiesrc8051 Yeah, that thing will go fast, I'm sure :) on OWB - just put a masking tape on the blades with a label that says "DON'T DO AUTO" 😂
That will be like "remove before flight" with an extra memo :)

Wow. How did you come up with that idea. That is super cool that you were able to find someone to manufacture this for you. Looking forward to some more great videos and some insane speed runs. Congrats also for being on the BK team. No IRCHA for me this year either so another year until I can finally get to meet you. Hopefully one day. Although maybe that time you will be too famous and unreachable 😉
@@toadiscoil I’ll never be to famous or unreachable. I’ll always be the same person! Here to help everyone in this hobby! Maybe you can go next year! IRCHA is the one event I make sure to go to every year and would like to go to more. So I have ideas all the time lol I didn’t come up with this one. They did! It just took me almost a year for them to even consider making it for me. (Of course it was not cheap lol) but wait for the other comet….. Thank you! It was a while in the works on BK. But very glad to be apart of the team!

Very cool machine. Im trying to learn about speed flying. What does the tail fin actually do!? and why is it set at a 16° angle!?
Thank you! It’s a work of art lol so one of the biggest issues with flying helicopters fast is Blade stall. Luckily these blades don’t really stall like a traditional blade as they have a crazy design to them, but the nose does like the pitch up under a full pass or when you unsettled the helicopter under hard pitch transitions. The horizontal thin is a flying surface and like an airplane it holds that tail at that angle. You set the fin to the angle of forward flight and it will help steady and keep the helicopter tracking straight.

@@HeliShed thank you buddy! So this setup will make 20,000 watts! Yes 20,000 lol it has been tested by the guy who made these mechanics and every time the OWB would let go. So to eliminate failures he said don’t run one. It has the power to go over 200mph.

@@gavinausten1825 the swash plate, head block and blade grips are SAB, the tail grips, slider and links and fuse are stock goblin. Everything else is custom made. If you ever seen a stock Comet you could definitely tell.
