Thank you for clarifying! It was a bit confusing because on my Interrail app, the station shows up twice-once under Italy and once under Austria. I will put a correction in the video😊
Just imagine...its been a 4 to 5 days trip by truck - back in the 70ies. I was born in South Tyrol and Napoli was for us "as far as Africa" - back in the days.
That’s incredible to think about! 12 hours felt long to me, but it’s nothing compared to those trips back in the day. Travel has definitely become more comfortable, and who knows, maybe it’ll be even faster in the future. Thanks for sharing your experience😊
Ich bin 1997 Roma Termini - München Hbf im Liegewagen gefahren. Ist lange her und war wunderschön! Ich hatte eine Italien-Rundreise hinter mir und einen Abstecher zur Zugspitze vor mir.
That sounds like an amazing trip! Traveling in a sleeper car must have been a great experience. I think the train was slower back then, so the trip took longer, but you could enjoy the scenery more. Thanks for sharing your story😊
Beautiful trip! You missed Madonna della corona church, carved in the mountain, on Adige river valley, half way between Verona and Rovereto. Anyway, Adige river valley is full of beautiful views.
@@LetsgowithD Yes, you can see it! Of course not as near as the castles and churches you show in your video, but it's clearly visible from the train, and it gives you an accurate dimension of the incredible work it took for building it. Adige valley is amazing!
Thanks for letting me know! It’s cool that you can see it from the train and get a sense of its scale. The Adige Valley does look incredible. Next time, I’ll pay extra attention to see if I can spot it!
I always travel with an Interrail pass, which allows you to explore 33 countries across Europe. I opted for first class on this journey. For this train, I had to pay an additional cost of 15 euros.
That wasn't actually the Frecciarossa's first class. Businesses is, in fact, the second best class, whilst the Executive class is the top tier one. Its much more luxurious and comfortable than business class, but also quite a bit more expensive😅
Thank you for clarifying that! I didn’t know that-I thought it was first class since I made the reservations on the Interrail website. Anyway, thanks for explaining!😊
@@LetsgowithD No problem, it's quite confusing because only the more premium train sets (ETR 500 and ETR 1000) have the executive class. The ETR 700 and ETR 600 don't, so technically business class is first class on these trains.
@@LetsgowithD oh yeah I get what you mean, business class is hard to beat, might be the best in Europe. Especially considering the price. I also recommend the new Treni turistici italiani service. 😁

@@LetsgowithDLook out for what you wish for. I have done this trip and the amount of sleep you get is sub optimal believe me. Travel through the Austrian section is slow and very noisy.
