I had the same problem but I finally understood it so you do
1sc (first stich)
1hdc (next stich)
2hd (next stitch)
Repeat the 1 hdc,2hdc 4×in total
Then do 1 sc
And one ss

I'm sorry about it. 😥"6 (...)"means you need to repeat stitches between the parentheses 6 times. 3 hdc means repeat 3 hdc in different stitch, 2hdc in same stitch meaning is double hdc. 3 single hdc, 2 double hdc repeat 6 times. Thanks for your comment🥰

The last rounds written instructions did not match what was actually shown in the video. I just watched and did the same ignoring the written instructions
