I owned a 1970 Eliminator (Orange) with a 351 Cleveland (4:11) gears (original "shaker" hood with rubber seal). My Dad owned a 1970 XR7 Cougar with a 428 Cobra Jet (original "shaker" hood) as well. Furthermore, my 1970 Eliminator had power windows as well. Fun cars while they lasted.
late to the party here...luv the scenic tranquil driving scene as it then morphs into a massive burnout...classic... as I am a goer not a shower (grower not shower? lol), a clean accident-free and rust-free driver speaks much more to me than factory correct details for show...wish I had been around with some cash when this went up for sale
This is the one you drove thru Hood River after you took me out to dinner, isn't it? I was pretty sure, then you mentioned where you bought it. Crazy driving, btw. M

What makes that one the nicest I’ve seen is.. it’s truly a driver that’s just awsome.. I had a 69 428 XR7 4 Spd. Let’s say I shouldn’t kept it

These cars are so damn rare.
I really love your videos and how honest / descriptive you are. I doubt I can afford this car but will be watching it closely just in case..... :P
I had a 1979 converty428 auto.fast as s... still have the wood shifter.cheers
Nice video, very nice photographs! ... and beautiful car!
I would like to buy it, but I live too far!
Looking for a car exactly like this -same color, condition and engine option. But I would not be upset if it had a 302 or 351. My search led me here.
