For sneakers as an example, I always figured that at the end of the day, it's a piece of plastic. Why is a pair of Nike's £250, but a pair of Chinese knock-offs from an off-license £5? Because appearing in the Premier League, Formula 1, tennis and all the other top tier events, it gives the brand a legitimacy that no-name brands don't carry.
There’s also a subconscious belief that if brands like Nike can afford these large sponsorship spots, then their product must be better. It’s that brand recognition that starts to waterfall sales

Valuable video, ads are great to promote the sponsored event on social media to bring people to the event.
Nicely said! Appreciate the compliment
In a nutshell I think sponsorships increase brand perception , ads are more like for brand awareness
Good perspective, but it also depends on the kind of ads. What kind of ads do you think bring better awareness?
