I don't think they're vocals are the problem, it's the song choice. It looks more like a cutesy stage performance they do at music shows. They should've chose a better, vocally challenging song. And if not all the members can sing to it, they should've just selected the more vocally talented members to sing. Just like what red velvet did by just allowing Wendy, Seulgi, and Joy to sing. me too. I love Twice but overall their vocals are not very strong... and that's what Immortal Songs usually focuses on. But I actually ended up liking it. They didn't try to be anything that they aren't, and although you can tell most of them really aren't good singers and even the main vocals aren't that great, it wasn't the focus of the performance. It was just supposed to be cute and it was. Plus I love the dance break.
Agree with you. Not a Twice fan but I do find how ppl keep bashing their vocal kind of annoying. They are not yet the level of vocal we expect on IS but at least there are some decent ones and yeah, they performed a passionate and fresh stage in their own style. Still I expect to see further improvements in their vocal

Immortal Songs is a great show, only good vocalists came here to perform. Legends came here too! Michael Bolton for example, he got inspired again after watching the performances (he said himself). And this means that it's really respected to be in this show. Artists will often show performance that will bring you goosebumps and showcase great quality vocals. For example: Sohyang 'Lean On', Ailee 'Everyone'. This performance just made Immortal Songs a joke. Cause I've watched this show lots of times, and I got goosebumps in each and every time, standing on this stage itself is a great opportunity but Twice aren't showing that. I know that they are rookies, but this is a great show to showcase their vocals, they should do something more as a respect for this amazing show. Even rookies did something more in their first performance here, Brave Girls, Red Velvet, Gfriend all did amazing. Twice was very lacking.

While this arrangement isn't the best, what it did do was showcase every member in their proper position in terms of Main Vocal, Lead Vocals, Main Dancers, Main Rapper, Lead Rapper. When you see this it's very obvious that Jeongyeon is a lead vocalist along with Nayeon, but that Jihyo is the main. (so bep, why can't you see it?)
I think this would've been better if they focused more on the vocals by bringing their strongest members (Jungyeon, Jihyo, Naeyeon) and doing a stripped down performance where they just sing with little choreography.

*i agree though the highnote sounded a bit too high for nayeon especially while dancing but for jihyo it sounds like its well within her range. so i ahree JYP should just stick with songs the girls are comfortable singing.

Immortal Songs is a great show, only good vocalists came here to perform. Legends came here too! Michael Bolton for example, he got inspired again after watching the performances (he said himself). And this means that it's really respected to be in this show. Artists will often show performance that will bring you goosebumps and showcase great quality vocals. For example: Sohyang 'Lean On', Ailee 'Everyone'. This performance just made Immortal Songs a joke. Cause I've watched this show lots of times, and I got goosebumps in each and every time, standing on this stage itself is a great opportunity but Twice aren't showing that.
I know that they are rookies, but this is a great show to showcase their vocals, they should do something more as a respect for this amazing show. Even rookies did something more in their first performance here, Brave Girls, Red Velvet, Gfriend all did amazing. Twice was very lacking.

Twice is not the problem in this video, neither are their singing or whatsoever. The problem is how people criticize them and compare them to other groups. Can’t y’all just enjoy the performance? Their not even bad in this stage. Can’t you imagine them reading your hateful comments and crying because they can’t satisfy the world? They're not hating on twice, they're just speaking up for the show itself and its purpose. Immortal Songs is focused on vocals. Not to say twice aren't good vocalists, but their performance took attention away from the actual vocals, which would be nice on a music show, but not on this stage.

While this arrangement isn't the best, what it did do was showcase every member in their proper position in terms of Main Vocal, Lead Vocals, Main Dancers, Main Rapper, Lead Rapper. When you see this it's very obvious that Jeongyeon is a lead vocalist along with Nayeon, but that Jihyo is the main. (so bep, why can't you see it?)
