Your videos are super helpful, I feel like there's not enough information about it online. Please keep making bioeng related videos!

how I started getting myself employed was just working on high level jobs for free in my spare time while I did warehousing. That way I could 'try on' majors without actually pursuing them at school - then I could find out if it was for me or not. I also created my own projects that I'd use for my actual jobs.

I actually study at UCSD bioengineering program, bachelors. It is easy to say be above the average, however, I think in practice its hard to get good grades in your courses at UCSD bioengineering. some students got grades in my class but they are very top tier, they have solid foundation and are probably two step ahead of everyone else before even enrolling in the class. There is also many other factors, such as improving the skills highly depend on the program you are enrolled in. for instance, UCSD bioengineering is heavily biology oriented rather than mechanical or clinical engineering. so the opportunities to expand on your skillset withing your school projects become less if your skill set is not emphasized with the program curriculum.

Hi there, I have recieved admit from UCSD for MEng progrsm in Bioengineering with focus in Medical devices. Can you please tell me about the job opportunities after completion of the course. My another admit is from Boston which is the hub for medtech but California is next after Boston. I really do like the curriculum but really worried about job and career opportunities.

2:10 um what gets people the job is what job someone wants to give someone matched with the skills of the individual. That's why I pursue my passions outside of the workplace, as there's no 'me' in job.

if you go to an employment agency where I live, no matter if you have a PhD, they give everyone a warehouse job (to start I guess)

Hey I go to Purdue and I am trying to decide if I should do Chemical Engineering or "Biological Engineering". Is Bioengineering and Biological engineering the same thing? The part of Biological Engineering that attracted me was the Bioenvironmental track Purdue has. Chem E also has an Energy and Environment track and so I'm trying to find out which major is a better fit for me. Any ideas how I can try to figure this out?

where I live the jobs I want to see don't exist. So I manually fund the high tech aerospace jobs on the backs of my blood, sweat, tears, maybe never knowing if I'll wake up the next day warehouse dollars - just so when someone gets out of school, they have a job lined up for them.

Holy shit the 5 options you outlined. Hard truth right there. I am current contemplating the youtube thing, and actively working on the crypto and academia thing. Whew.. what a world. We are all scrambling for this money stuff.
