In episode 3 and 4, Cheryl's mother tells her that she needs to find a boyfriend so Cheryl's brother tells Archie to ask his sister out. Cheryl tries to like him and lies about having sex with him but she later realises that she's a lesbian and can't become straight. In episode 6, Evelyn, a cheer teammate, tells Cheryl that Toni likes girls and Evelyn tries to get her out of the team but Cheryl defends Toni
I love the fact the most of their sexual/love/kissing scenes are made with rallenty. It’s just make everything perfect and sort of underline the importance of their love and their history and the characters. Their story IS why most people keeps watching the show.
This should’ve been the show! Archie & The Gang in the 1950s, like the comics! Slice of life with some drama, food for thought and even more comedy and hijinx 😤❤️ Love 50s Choni btw, it’s a whole effing mood 😎👏🏽 EDIT: The African drums in the video are killing me dead. I cannot stop laughing 😆😆😆
Toni and Cheryl (the characters) know very little about the actresses . Not their fault the writers here are confused asf or the rest of us are 😂😂😂. But they complement eachother very well as a couple especially in this iteration. There's more of an even power dynamic. Toni doesn't just follow Cheryl like a puppy dog. They challenge EACHOTHER .
It's also more realistic. I dont see....Toni being the way she was in s1 thru 3 with Cheryl. Toni has a backbone lived rough and hung out with a gang she's not just going to follow around a rich white woman like a puppy dog. It's not even in the characters nature or irl wouldn't be TRUST. Like it dislike it love it hate it indifferent it's facts. Not many black women being puppy dogged by anybody. Is it a vice or a productive trait? well I suppose that depends on who you're asking. 😁
