Hello, big guy here frustrated with a “small vinyl pool” 1000 gallons for kids, in the last 2 weeks, I haven’t been able to use the pool at all due cloudiness or milky, initially I check the chemicals levels and chlorine and total chlorine as well ph were low I add these chemicals now in the last days these levels are very good but cloudy or milky pool still the same, i have use Floc as well alum to make the particles big and at the bottom of the pool, after I put these 2 chemicals pool became super clear again but I can see the particles at the bottom of the pool I purchase the “Jacuzzi 300” vacuum pool and as soon I put it inside the pool create turbulence and the pool became cloudy again, I have don’t these step in 3 different times, and as soon I put the vacuum inside the pool the turbulence makes the pool cloudy again, by the way I have a pump very little for this pool but I haven turn on in order to not create turbulence, can someone give me some advice on how to solve this problem, I really truly appreciate it, thanks a lot in advance. Gerry
This is not designed for that purpose, but it is an all around good cleaner for leaves and regular dirt. A portable clean up pump would be ideal. I bet if you could flag down the neighborhood pool guy he can clean it for you for a minimal charge. If he has the right equipment.
Bought a Water Tech Pool Blaster Max Li before your review, this max is to catch debris inside the vacuum bag , hard to clean, look like this model is more convenience .
Not quite as powerful as the Max Li but the debris chamber design is great. Try the sand/silt bag first in your Max Li- it is easier to clean then the Multi Layer. You might like it. It's $20 on Amazon.
I have a clump of dead algae on the bottom of my above the ground pool. I used a vacuum similar to this but the algae is came out from the water outtake I assume because it mixed up all the algae and it make the water murky again. will this vacuum keep the algae in the chamber?
So here's the question I have a pool the floor is not a hundred percent level and has a couple bumps but I'd say about 80% leveled is it worth it based on the video seems nice soon as I can get a lot of stuff do you recommend it or do you still have something better for around the same price
The FX-8 has a lot more power than this one and if you can afford it I would go with the FX-8. This one is good but I don't think for pool service it would hold up as well as the FX-8
I bought a Pool Blaster MaxLi and was wondering if I can into my above ground pool with the vacuum cleaner and will you get an electrical shock ? I see no warnings about getting shocked by a battery powered pool cleaner.
My Hayward Navigator is moving a bit slow. Pinch a Penny is trying to “Pinch” me for $200+ to fix it. Is there something you would recommend as a replacement or should I bite the bullet and let them fix it?
Swimming Pool Tips, Reviews & How To -MrDgvb1 My pool has built in seats, so the vacuum head would not fit in the small spaces. I checked out the Volt FX8 Li and that one is a better option for me because it has a hose and crevice tool. Thank you.
I ordered mine (BlueWave, Aqua First product) and received it Monday, June 29. Charged it, tried it. Doesn't work. Waiting to hear from the manufacturer. Annoying. I had a smaller blaster for many years. Not happy.
Just purchased this and it does not work at all....zero power in the battery even after more than 4 hours of charging. So annoyed as we had to drive far to find one and it was the last one they had
@@SPL Alot of the online reviews (Lowes) say that it stops working because the seal is bad and if water gets into the motor housing it quits for good. Have you had this problem? Thanks !
So glad I found this video to watch how to put this thing together! Thanks a bunch
About to buy this man. Thanks! Found it for $130, but still gonna' get it due to the larger capacity to pick up stuff.
It works great -you will like it. 👍

You will need these cones for that: P22X022SS-3 / CENT022SS- SAND AND SILT FILTER BAG (3 PACK)-FITS CENTENNIAL, ECLIPSE, IVAC 350

This one would work well. You can also get different covers for the cone to pick up fine dirt as well.
Between the centennial li & the pool blaster pulse which has the larger opening for debris such as walnuts & acorns ?? Please help
Both may struggle with that size debris. The older Pool Blaster MAXLi may do better. Or the Volt Fx8Li - even better
Would this model be better then the speed vac turbo or the speed vac xl ?
It's a very good model. You will be happy with it.
Hey David, which do you prefer? The Pool Blaster Centennial Li or the Pool Blaster Max Li Pool and Spa Cleaner by Water Tech
hey David which do you prefer fx8 or this one? I love the how big the chamber is in this one you can actually use it on a pool
The FX-8 has a lot more power than this one and if you can afford it I would go with the FX-8. This one is good but I don't think for pool service it would hold up as well as the FX-8
I mostly a little bit of sand and dirt. Will this work with that? Tired of trying to use my skimmer and pump
For sand and dirt I prefer the bag type cleaner like their Pool Blaster Max. That way you can use the Sand/silt bag and it will pick everything up.
Swimming Pool Tips, Reviews & How To - SPL thx man!
I've owned the pool blaster catfish, didn't last a summer do to the electrical part being exposed to water. Is this one designed different?
This one has a similar charging area -you would want the Pool Plaster MaxLi - that has a completely sealed charging port. No water can get in there.
I bought a Pool Blaster MaxLi and was wondering if I can into my above ground pool with the vacuum cleaner and will you get an electrical shock ? I see no warnings about getting shocked by a battery powered pool cleaner.
No, you won't get shocked. You will be fine.
Thank you for your quick response . I will give it a try tomorrow .
When you have a heart pacemaker you even worry about DC current .

Seems a bit high. You can get a new cleaner for $350. what exactly is wrong with it? Watch this: th-cam.com/video/Fccdo-Di4rE/w-d-xo.html
Swimming Pool Tips, Reviews & How To - SPL Thanks 😊 very helpful
Will this do as good of a job as a gunnite pool vacuum connected to a skimmer?
It's for spot vacuuming so in a lot of cases yes.
Would this vacuum cleaner pick up the dead algae after a chlorine shock I have scum on the bottom of the pool liner?
No, not this cleaner. You would need to purchase the Pool Blaster MaxLi and then the Sand Silt Bag for that.
Thank you for the info and quick reply you just saved me some money .........Thanks .
Will it pick up D.E. sitting at the bottom of my pool?
Thanks.
No. For that you will need the Pool Blaster Max Li and you will need to pick up the Sand Silt Bag for ther unit. That will work.
Yo quiero preguntar compre una y avienta mucho polvo por donde sale el aire y me revuelve mucho el agua que podría ser que el filtro me salió malo?
Tal vez. O el polvo puede ser demasiado fino para el filtro
I have learned alot from you thankyou for the videos
Thanks for the positive feedback!
where can you buy it? the amazon link is dead , do you know if there's a new model name?
ACE Hardware has it for $99
@@SPL thank you mate!
Will this pick up algae at the bottom?
No. The filter is not that fine.
Can you use this without the vacuum head?
Yes, that is possible but debris might fall out when you take it out. Curious as to why you wouldn't want to use the vacuum head?
Swimming Pool Tips, Reviews & How To -MrDgvb1 My pool has built in seats, so the vacuum head would not fit in the small spaces. I checked out the Volt FX8 Li and that one is a better option for me because it has a hose and crevice tool. Thank you.
Mine doesn’t do such a great job picking up leaves, why is this ?
Sometimes you have to pick up the vacuum head slightly and land it on the leaf.
Can you get into the pool and use the Pool Blaster . Will it shock you ?
I saw another persons review and she uses it while in the water with her goggles! (lol)
Yes I've been using mine in the pool for years!
I got this the other day but it has 0 suction power
Might be assembled wrong. Shoud have great suction.
@@SPL I followed directions
Look good but the water seem to clear when poured out.
The dirty water drains out when you remove it. A pretty solid low priced vacuum.
@@SPL cool just purchased and waiting for pool opening🏊👍

Did the light turn off after it was fully charged? I can't remember if it turns green or off on that unit.
Any one having problems with this? My does not turn on☺️
If it is still under warranty I would contact water tech
Seen it at Walmart was going to try it just for spas
Works better then I expected. Will be perfect for spas.
