biggest difference to understand with specimen or proof is, if a MS-63 (business strike) is considered standard and a MS-67 is exceptional, most specimen were issued around sp-67 to Sp-69. If you see a Ms-64 coin, its a nice one but a Sp-64 coin definitely have a problem, nothing huge yet, but something like spots or light hairlines are to be expected. A Sp-62/63 can look almost cleaned du to the bad handling, especially for mirrored fields.
