good ranking! Bands like Rush, Genesis, U2 and Yes should be included though. You should listen to more Faith No More. System of a Down and Rage Against the Machine wouldn't exist without them. My Rankings? I'd have Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Faith No More, Deep Purple high. A lot of those bands would be rather low or in other words: a waste of my time.
That was a fun video, especially when a ranking is way different than where I’d put them, but then the next is exactly where I’d put them haha. But yeah, it’s really interesting to see where people place their music in these tiers.
I love these kinds of videos! Looking for a Tier List to do myself...haven't found the one you did yet though. Deep Purple in MEH is a tough call and Coldplay in MY REASON FOR BREATHING is a bold move...although I also like them a good bit :P
I was born in 1970, so I was the right age for it when Kiss blew up huge there circa 1976. They were actually my first concert, on the Dynasty tour in 1979. When I hit double digits in 1980, I got into the early new wave stuff like Blondie and the Cars, and when I first heard Duran Duran in 1982, that changed everything for me. Over the course of the next several years, I discovered what they were calling at the time "College Rock" (alternative music), and I got a guitar, and I started delving into metal somewhat as well. I guess over the years I just lost interest in Kiss. I go through moods from time to time where Ill throw on Destroyer, or Alive 2 and give them a listen, but past Dynasty, they just have not done anything that great to me. I do have some fond childhood memories of when I was massive fan, and had all the posters, records, the Mego Kiss Dolls and other such merchandise. Heck I cant think of my elementary school years with out a Kiss memory coming up in there somewhere. I also give them a lot of credit for making me the massive music fan I am as an adult, and they certainly were in inspiration for my love of all things dark and scary......... And I am also "meh" on Nirvana !!!! I did see one of the last concerts (one of the last about 25 shows) they ever played before Kurts death in november of 1993 though. My girlfriend at the time was a big fan, so I went along with her. And hey, if you love Kiss, by all means love them !! I was never one to bag on people for liking bands I am not fond of !!! And I don't mean to be annoying by commenting so much ! As I said, I am pouring through your channel over the course of the weekend !!
Was that Faith No More comment about me?... or other ppl telling that you SHOULD listen to them!!!... anyway, its midnight, im drunk and now i really wanna listen to FNM!!!.... and btw, i like the blonde hair but it would be better if it was
Amazing video to watch but I just…seeing Nirvana in meh was tough to watch. Especially since your a huge NIN fan, I would think that the only 3 Nirvana albums would be like gospel to you😭
Man I’m just glad the foo fighters didn’t go into the don’t know enough or painful in the ears wheeeeewwww 😅 but pretty good choices for everything else
Queen are meh for me also. Queen is probably the most overplayed of the iconic British bands on the radio and television adverts. Pink Floyd is my favourite band however, let's be honest, Pink Floyd songs are not really cut out for radio. FOR ME, the very very very very best bands are Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Those 4 are simply magic.
Yeah enjoyable. I liked The Beatles 'you can't really argue it's like science' . I said to my nephew 'I think people who say they don't like The Beatles are just saying it for effect' he replied 'well it's like saying you don't like music'. Smashing your fist into the palm of your hand over one band, bit extreme Mary, but hilarious.😜
what they lack in technical ability, they more than make up for with the stage presence, makeup, costumes, fun song ideas and overall vibe. Seeing them in concert just feels amazing. AND they have some amazing guitar tones.
I love your short clips... Awesome... Greets from Austria
good ranking!

I’ll have to do a prog rock version next!
@@marysmusictaste looking forward to it!
I see a Mary's Music Taste video. I watch and click thumbs up. Simple. 💙
Omg you’re so kind, thank you 🥺
I dig the rankings/tiers videos, so keep them up!
Maybe rank your favorite bands albums or even singles? Either way, keep up any content! 💙
Cool vid. Do another tier video on prog albums 🤘
Ooooh yes I will! Might get crucified in the comments though 😂
I’m not a fan of the 27 club
Solo artists are not bands

I do feel bad about the Deep Purple position now haha, I was way too harsh 😂

Kiss is Meh for me lol
I get that, they’re not for everyone!

Deep Purple got murdered, otherwise relatable
Haha I know, I do feel bad about that now 😂
