I still mourn the loss.
I remember my homie in high school had an apartment (nobody else at that age did) and I use to go there every Thursday night and watch that show Beverly Hills 90210. That was about 1993 or so. We use to go to KFC before the show started and I always got potato wedges and then a pint of mashed potatoes and gravy. How I ate it was by dipping the wedges into the mashed w/ gravy, no utensils needed. This took me back, def gonna make them like this.
Btw, a video on KFC mashed potatoes and gravy would also be fire. I used to buy a pint to dip my wedges in, now you can only get them in a really small size, not even worth getting.

Gravy instead of ketchup.
The secret is that the original version had MSG. I’ll add some to your flour mixture and see what happens. I used to get these every week; how KFC cancelled them in favor of those terrible French fries I’ll never know.

These wedges look delicious. We have a winco grocery here in Seattle Wa, and they sell for like 10 wedges for $1, but they are the bomb. So I'm going to try yours.
