The staff at toads cafe was so nice. The toads cafe at universal studios Hollywood would never. 💀 other than that it looks like exactly the same as the one in California.
Wow, so interesting to know that they replicated the same park! And yes I agree, I was really shocked with how nice the staff were as well. Hope you can experience it for yourself one day! 😆
Omg this looks so fun! This video was so helpful cause I’m going to be going there next month 😍 . Do you remember how much the Toad headband was? It’s super cuteeeee 🥺
Hi Stephanie! I'm so excited for you, hope you have a good time there! 😍 On the headband, I can't find my receipt 😅, I just remember vaguely most headbands are around the ~20AUD mark. Hope that helps! 🥹
@@rayneroses who knows November seems like a chill month to go specially at the end of it hahahaha. That photo spot for Hogwarts castle is in the outside patio dinning area of the restaurant right? I wanna have that photos since I might go full Harry Potter outfit idk
@@LetsExplore307 Haha it’s all luck I guess 😂 Yes! That’s at the patio, I love it because there’s less crowd and you get the whole view, take your time ~ Omg excited for you to dress up, I did it once and it’s so much fun!!
After visiting both Nintendo Worlds in Japan and Hollywood, I feel that both parks are better in their own ways. In Japan, there is a lot more different activities to do, with more variety of different foods that are way better than Hollywood's Toadstool Cafe (Except for the Burgers, Hollywood does them better), they also have their own unique headbands which japan's headbands are better, while hollywood's shirts and hats are better. And rides like Mario Kart, compared to Hollywood, takes less time to line up for than in Hollywood. If you are lucky, you can get in to Japan's Nintendo World as early as 7:30am in the morning. However, unlike Hollywood, there are some days where you MUST book a Timed Entry Ticket (Virtual Line) in order to get to the park, and sometimes you must go to a specialized kiosk to book them. Meeting mascots (except Toad) is much stricter, due to the fact that unlike Hollywood, you are not allowed to have your phone to take pictures with mascots, you must stand in a specific position when you meet mascots, you must pose how the mascot poses for pictures, and you must pay 6000 yen for pictures. While in Hollywood, it's just you interacting with the mascot, the staff are allowed to use your phone for picture taking, and you are allowed to greet the mascots with how you like to greet them (plushies). When I met Peach in Japan, the line takes longer compared to Hollywood (30 minutes in Japan). And she would just interact with the staff member every time and only interact with me based on what the staff tells her to do for the first 30 seconds of the meet and greet to fill in that time. When I even tried to greet her with my plushies, she just ignores them. When I met Peach in Hollywood the line is way shorter (2-15 minutes), and she is even willing to get to know more of my different plushies, and with Toadette being her favourite, she would always be happy to hold her and hug her for the picture-taking. The meet and greet is straight to the point and no nonsense.
That's so interesting! Thanks for sharing that, that's great insight that I've never experienced before. It sounds like Hollywood is much more relaxed with meet & greet, rides and some merch while the food choices and head bands are better in Japan! I like how Peach in Hollywood is so much more interactive, I think that's how a character should be 😍 I'm definitely interested to give Hollywood a try if I have a chance next time! 🤩
@@rayneroses definitely! I always loved meeting Peach in Hollywood with plushies, and we just play together for a mere moment and just take pictures together. It's quick, fast and no time wasting, unlike Japan, where for the first 20 seconds or so, it's the staff members that tell the mascots how to "interact" with you, and often times, you get ignored, and the remaining minute to just be used on standing properly and pose how the mascots demand you to pose. If you are someone like me that likes to wear face coverings during picture taking, in Japan you are ordered to take the mask off. I was able to say no by getting their approval to let me keep my mask on, but they will have me explain why I need to do so like how I have to explain why I forgot my homework.
Hi! I got there super early, so I lined up right away. I did see videos on people talking about getting timed tickets, personally I didn’t see any even during the time I left the restaurant 😅 People were still queueing based on the displayed waiting time.
Haha! Yes! I found out I made a typo right after uploading 😂 someone finally called it out! Hahaha you’re right, it’s opening this year, and pretty soon 🤩
Hii. Ur vid will def help me in USJ. What kind of ticket did u get? I noticed ur time in Nintendo was chill, not timed at all. Hope u can recall and share 😭
Hi! Glad it helped! I got the normal ticket, that's why I had to arrive so early in the morning for it to look 'chill'. If you can, I'd recommend buying tickets with timed entry, it'll save you from so much mental stress.. 😆
Good question! You don't have to, but you will have to arrive super early to secure your time slot. If you don't want to arrive early, try getting a ticket with guaranteed access 😉👍🏻
Hi Farid! 👋😆 Yup the ride instructions are in Japanese, but most are pretty self-explanatory, you'll still 100% enjoy yourself there if that's what you're worried about! 😉

What hotel you guys stayed at?
Hi! We stay at an Airbnb around Dontonburi ☺️
not related to USJ but... where did you get your apple watch strap? 😅
All the rides and instruction in USJ use Japanese language. 😢

Yes....because it is in Japan lol
