This concert was filmed with 35mm film so it is still crisp. This concert was recently released in IMAX format for a limited showing of 10 days. It was so clear and the audio was so good that it felt like I was back in the day at a live Queen concert except for this time I was sitting down. This is an amazing performance of this song by Freddie. Thank you for your reaction and your time.

Queen was not on tour. This was a staged two night showed professionally filmed with the intention for theatre release which explains the production clarity. A couple of weeks ago, it was shown on IMAX screens across the globe after a quality remaster. It was ahhhhmazing! Sorry you missed it!
They’ve actually extended the screening on IMAX. It’s still playing where I live.

THIS WAS A TWO NIGHT CONCERT IN TORONTO. IF IT WAS REMASTERED THAT WAS OUT OF THE "BUSINESS" AS THE LIVE PERFORMANCE WAS TO BE PUT ON MARKET. I SAW A VCD IN A MUSIC STORE IN THE LATE 90s & SUCCEEDING YEARS.
Thanks, Shama - I knew you would like this version (I saw your reaction to the "official video".. lol) This is a whole BAND.. not just Freddie & some back-up guys.. everyone was on fire... there are a lot of songs available from this particular concert.. and they are all amazing... (of course, no "autotune".. just pure talent).. Look forward to more of your reactions...
Loved your reaction, someone else mentioned reacting to white queen live at Hammersmith, I second that. I would also recommend watching the live aid set, and pretty much any other performance from this Montreal, 1981 concert. My other favorite song from this concert is another one bites the dust.

You'll get some dumb comments saying Freddie never drinks beer onstage, even though he does. He's on camera drinking beer in Montreal '81 more than once. Unfortunately some Queen fans on YT are in denial or have poor eyesight. There are always 2 large clear plastic cups filled with beer directly in front of Freddie on the piano in their live videos, including at Live Aid in 1985. The small ones are Dixie cups filled with water.

With show time approaching, towels and drinks for the band’s refreshment on stage would now be strategically placed: water and beer for Fred, beer for Brian and Roger and the Backstage Bar for John, comprising water, beer, soft drinks, wine and whatever spirit or cocktail he fancied at the time: Southern Comfort, vodka or tequila.

Oh, if bro likes Rock N Roll as well, you definitely should check it Rush. One of, if not THE greatest band in existence imo. Tom Sawyer is their most popular track, but The Camera Eye and Witch Hunt on that same album are also phenomenal
