This printer is so darn good that the manufacturer needed to discontinue support for it to get rid of the competition it made for the future products 🥲🤣😂 Thank You for keeping thousands of them alive, saving all of us money, keeping the planet cleaner and helping reduce electronic waste. I love owning the things that I buy, I hate subscriptions and the corporate greed that robs the now day user. My HP Laserjet 1010 is 19 years young today and it still prints happily along thanks to You, and other people alike that fight the corporate system with making replacement printer cartridges.

That's worked for me, Thank you! I did not see DOT4 port but I choose USB001 (Virtual printer port for USB) I did not see HP in the left window but I have disk solve the problem. Thank you!

This problem sometimes happens. After a fresh installation of Windows, usually DOT4 and USB Port appear again. But as there is no guarantee, I don't offer to do so.
Connect your printer via USB cable, follow the steps, and choose “USB001 (Virtual printer port for USB)” or “USB002 (Virtual printer port for USB)” instead of dot 4. That’s it! 😃

“1015” is just a name. Use it, and your printer starts working 😊
