Leap 2015 teaser...

Two solo performers come together in a leap of faith, to create the acrobatic show they had imagined to be possible against all the odds. Reuben Kuan (aka Reuben Dot Dot Dot) wants to leap and be caught, to be lifted overhead and be thrown high in to the air -- and he knows just the woman for the job. He has joined forces with Charmaine Childs (aka Strong Lady, Betty Brawn) to chase the biggest acrobatic tricks they can dream up.
Set to a soundtrack of jazz and swing, LEAP is a tender and exciting acrobatic show available as either a street theatre show or a series of stage acts.
Both have been performing their solo shows at outdoor arts festivals and variety shows around the world with great success and have each been repeatedly acclaimed for having a powerful mix of strength and grace. It is these qualities and a playful interaction with the audience that are the heart of the show.
LEAP flips usual ideas about gender on their head. A decidedly feminine strong lady lifts, catches and holds aloft an adult man. A man both gentle and masculine, who is strong but knows the virtue of pointed toes. LEAP celebrates the vulnerability and excitement in leaping and trusting that you will be caught, both physically and metaphorically.
