I met this little girl not too long ago! I met her at a fundraiser for Camelot thereputic horsemanship. She is free of cancer now!! She is so sweet. She is living her dream! She rides horses every Monday with me! It makes me so happy to know that she rides horses because she loves them so much!
I actually know Kiara and her family, in fact I spent this evening with them at a fundraiser for equine(horse) therapy stables that she and my daughter both get lessons through. Kiara is still in a wheelchair but she has been cancer free for a little bit now, PRAISE GOD (she had a brain tumor)! She is just as sweet and adorable in person as she is in this video and she LOVES riding, she rides a horse named Chyanna (like chyanne but with an “a” at the end). She was one of the featured students for the stables this year and was honored at the fundraiser. I can not say enough about how amazing her family is and how incredible Kiara’s optimism is! It is a true blessing to know this sweet little girl, her baby sister, older brother and parents! Absolutely delightful!
This is honestly beautiful. I'd donate if I could, but I unfortunately can't. It's just amazing to see smiles on those kid's faces. Hopefully this program doesn't falter and can continue to make the children in St.Jude's happy.

This is a form of virtual reality I haven't seen before but I'm so happy these kids, in a time of darkness, can be bestowed with light by living their dreams thanks to a 360° camera and willing, kind individuals. The world isn't such a bad place when you sift out the filth, and negativity from it. People, and companies like you who strive to bring light into the lives of others are the ones who will change the world in the end. Because the nicer we are to those around us, the more likely they are to be nicer to those around them. No matter how bad things get, treat those around you with kindness, even if they don't deserve it. Be the bigger person and be witnessed by others doing the right thing so happiness and good can spread.

This is one of many ways that St. Jude brings life to children. I would like to see a followup video, of grown-ups who experienced this as children, bringing similar sites to other children. Because you know the kids in this video must be dreaming of doing just that.

No one is seeing the irony here: lets take a cancer kid and put them in an enclosed box in an isolated room. Show him pictures on the wall so they can be entertained. Poor kid can't travel, awe so sad, but you can travel with cheap prices at expedia!! oh the kid? where are they now? um... did anyone check up on the box?
+Pikapetey we couldn't travel- due to the intense chemo treatment and the fact that Kiara still needs a wheel chair traveling to Argentina is not plausible at this time and especially at the time this was shot. It was a great blessing to have this experience and focus on her dreams rather than the intense chemo she was receiving. We hope to make this a real life experience once it becomes possible.

I don't know how good their treatment program is but, when it comes to squeezing out donations, they are second to none, well, maybe Shriners is pretty close. They put sick kids on TV and have them beg for money ----- only cute bald kids since most people melt when they see a cute little kid with cancer. Their ads are designed to make you feel that, if you don't shell out immediately, most of these kids will be dead by morning. I don't think Danny Thomas would approve of their marketing methods nor do I think he would approve of displaying sick kids on TV to beg for money. I just hope these kids get paid for these ads since they must be bringing in $ millions to this company. Even more than William Devane and his Rosland Capital crap.
st Jude's isn't nice because they are turning away kids who are relapsed it doesn't matter all kids deserve a chance,everyone knows whom I am talking bout !😑
