- In this video I continue the Elegoo 'The Most Complete Starter Kit' tutorials, doing the stepper motor tutorial.
You can find my code for this project on my github: github.com/hadefuwa/elegoo/

I actually decided mid-recording of the final tutorial 'EEPROM' that was not worth recording as I wasn't able to get it to work. If you're interested in doing the EEPROM tutorial, I recommend this tutorial by Drone Bot Workshop;

The Elegoo Arduino 'Most Complete Starter Kit' is a really good but slightly expensive piece of kit. I paid around £50 for it on Amazon but totally worth it in my opinion. They come with PDF tutorials allowing anyone to quickly get started using Arduinos and Breadboards. In this video series I will complete all the tutorials for the Most Complete Starter Kit.
Subscribe for more as I'll be posting a lot more Arduino content.

Hey noob question, that black piece on top of the breadboard necessary to power the driver to control the stepper motor or can I use an external power supply and not connect the driver to the breadboard at all?
yeah an external psu will do fine
i followed everything and nothing worked. all that happened was the 4 leds on the controller were constantly lit up and thats it
i used the code word for word tried writing my own and its still not spinning nor is it vibrating ive got the right wiring and correct libraries running
My guess would be a libraries issue, wiring issue or power supply issue. Maybe try a different library or redo the wiring?
What program do you use running the code I’m just getting started with this stuff
It's called the Arduino IDE. www.arduino.cc/en/software
Setting up can be a bit tricky. I recommend watching a setup tutorial or checking out elegoos first tutorial where they "kinda" explain how to do it. I think my first video in this playlist has a setup vid but it may be a bit outdated.
Thank you!
What's top speed for these stepper motors
sorry I don't know
@@HamedAdefuwa It's ok Thank you
i gould not get the stepper motor working
The stepper motor worked just it only vibrated
Will you do a continuation where you join projects feom the kit e.g i saw a person use the ultrasonic sensor to detect how far away something is and display it on the lcd screen but he never showed the code
Yeah that's my plan. Got some really good ideas of Arduino projects. The problem is sadly time right now. I'm in university so work overload atm. Stay tuned.
Will do thanks
Are you Going to finish the set
I'd love to but the tutorial quality really falls off towards the end. Bunch of mistakes and it was a real headache getting the later code working. I'm also currently very busy with my final year so unfortunately not anytime soon. Sorry mate
