    I showed my wife the first 20 seconds of this video and she said, "You are soo him!".
    "Except I have no 3d printer or SPACERS!", I replied.
    I'm now allowed to buy a 3d printer! (thank you Ivan!) ;)

    I do a similar thing with inserts in 3D prints. I have the tolerances worked out for my applications but there is still a ridge at the edge of the hole. This might be what was affecting the fit of your tubes - especially the cross beams - relieving the edges of the holes with a deburring tool made for plastics may be a simple solution to that problem.

    • @miatamike93
      @miatamike93 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ivanmirandawastaken When I say performance I mean that if you have better weight distribution the tank will be putting less strain on it's suspension and would need less power to move. I'm no engineer just a WW2 enthusiast, and torsion bar suspension invented by the Germans/Russians and popularized by them for their superior "performance". As far as measuring performance in plastic idk that's your "job", but it more than likely would help considering how heavy it probably is.

    First, I love your energy and the crazy projects you tackle! And, I wish you success in this latest endeavor of the “BIG TANK MARK II”! I did a little research and found playlists from your previous two projects - nice work.
    Now, clearly, this current project involves A LOT of time/energy/money/knowhow! Even more than the others.
    Often I inform interested parties that, “Many things can be 3D printed, but not everything. And, everything that can shouldn’t!” So, from a practical standpoint, this human-sized/rideable tank should not be 3D printed - BUT, I suspect you have motivations that justify your commitment… or you truly are just crazy!:D
    Whatever the case, you are going for it; and going for it BIG! I will cheer you on along the way!:)…
