    This video is a restart of the 3D printed Go Kart project. After I redesigned the Lego Inspired parts I finally decided to reprint the steering system and finish the chassis, the seat and the wheels. After this video I only need to add the motors and brakes and it should be ready to go!.

    This looks like so much fun to build! Also nice that you thought of using left-hand thread on beforehand 😆

      Why does the left hand thread matter?

    • @properprinting
      @properprinting ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Kirainian_Gaming the left wheel will eventually loosed the bolt otherwise. Same thing with bicycle pedals, one has a left-hand thread and the other right. This can take a while to figure out when you try to unscrew them and you don't know about this😆

    I think that weak point is between the place where the front weels are mounted and the midle of the frame that is supported by the side blocks, I tink it would be better to extend the upper front spindles holders to the back to where the side blocks are starting to prevent it from bending.👍👍
    I mean the place when you look at it from the side its between the the front weels holders and the midle section of the frame, more specifically between the place where the side blocks are ending

  • @mfennema

    Looks great! A smaller pinion gear would help with the steerability and also give more space for your legs (as others have pointed out). What is giving you the strength between the front axles and the steering arm? It looks like just the little tab, but I'd be afraid that will shear off if you ever see any resistance in turning. Excited to see it move!

    • @josephdecesaro1528
      @josephdecesaro1528 ปีที่แล้ว

  • @MarkEichin
    @MarkEichin ปีที่แล้ว

    It was hilarious to watch you gingerly sit down and worry about cracking and support... while it looked from the viewer's perspective like it didn't flex AT ALL :-) Have you ever calculated the strength of the "screwdrivers" and how small you could go (in overall scale) before they no longer worked and just shear off? They *look* great at this scale, I'm just curious if you know how much margin you actually have.

  • @johnbergt7
