Your videos are awesome, I just got a new assault 850 coming from an SKS 146, I’ve been using your videos to play around with settings to try and dial it in as a true crossover sled! I’m east coast, so I may be paying the shop a visit sometime

i decided to order the twisted dual rate spring kit for ski shocks from hygear suspension for my 22 xcr 850 because the small studder bumps were always terrible for me even on the lowest shock setting and all i can say is what an improvement it made and didn’t feel like i lost any ride quality anywhere else

Switching from an XRS to a Boost Assault for next season. I can't wait for it to come in. Sounds like I need to swap to the HD springs. It will be a great time to do it when I am swapping the track out for a 1.6 Ice Cobra... I wish Polaris gave the track options they do on the 850 non boost.

Great Job Teach! Love to learn from you guys. Any plans to do some vids for the QS3 Adventure type of folks who Plan to do some multi day touring and 150+ miles a day on the trail? Thanks.

Great video guys! I drilled a hole in my limiter strap Probably 1/2 a hole.I am a bigger guy! Yes bigger then Bruce's 230 240 comment. It definitely helps it from wheelying. Also when that inside ski wants to lift.,A little foot pressure action and it seems to settle it down better. C&A pro skis work great Jessie's. I haven't wanted to go back to the pro steer skis yet. For comparison. BTW I ride a 2019 Indy xc 800 129.

Exactly the video a was looking for. I bought an Assault but i’m trail riding. The ski lift is intense with the 2 inch lugs and semi- agressive snowtrackers. I will try your setup tips a try. Any more advice for my 2 inch lugs setup ? I’m about 200 pounds with my gear on. Thanks!

3rd guy here and purchased my sleds from you guys. Wondering what the part number for the heavier front springs are? Thanks for the tips. Really appreciate them. I had the sled dialed in before studding it by just replacing the rear springs and adjusting front shocks. Been looking for exactly these fine tuning tips to put it back to where it was.

On my second Assault. Finding the Matryx to have far better trail manners than the Axys. I’m a lighter guy and can pound the bumps pretty good without bottoming, though I did find bottom pretty hard twice last Saturday.
