For this recording's 36th anniversary, I figured it would be best to share the contents of a tape I've been wanting to acquire for (literally) about 10+ years. From the first time I saw the contents of this tape back in ~2012 (when he demonstrated a Sears/Sanyo TV from 1980), I just knew I had to do something to at least get a copy of this tape, I was just so fascinated with the contents of that tape. And now, it's safe to say, I finally have what I've been looking for... and it's better than I could have imagined!
If I were to be completely honest for this paragraph, I think it's the 1995 Cartoon Network tape I found in ~2009 and the video that Spats made in 2010 that actually got me into the preservation of VHS tapes from the 80's and 90's. And I wouldn't want to have been introduced to tape preservation any other way!

I was almost certainly watching this broadcast on KDKA-TV.
In my opinion, CBS Saturday Mornings was never the same when CBS decided not to carry Bugs Bunny & Road Runner after 1985.
Muppet Babies, Pee Wee Playhouse, Garfield & Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) held it down in later years, but it was not the same to me.

Impressive!!! You have one of the few airings of BBRR Show between June and September that I didn't record or accidentally taped over (... in this case, I taped over the 6/29/85 BBRR Show with the 9/14/85 airing of the Bugs Bunny Looney Tunes Comedy Hour)... It's cool to see what a little bit of the lineup that day was!

Out of curioisty, would you know what the cartoon before The Astroduck was and the cartoon between Hot Cross Bunny and A Pizza Tweety Pie? Am trying to remember if my erasure of this episode was intentional or accidental, LOL!
No I don't, unfortunately. The original recording started in the middle of "Astro Duck." "Hot Cross Bunny" is just the title card and a few seconds of the cartoon before it cuts to a Daffy Duck and Speedy Gonzales cartoon called "Speedy Ghost to Town."
