The book of Ruth is such an inspiration for the way God works with His people and protects the widows! Through RUTH and her courage to be upright. She must have stood out for her hard work in the field! And to obey her mother in-law and lay at the feet of her employer without fear really shows her faith that nothing but God would protect her and redeem her! Great lesson Kim. Thank you for sharing this beautiful picture of God’s faithfulness! 🙏🙏🙏

Ms. Kim you've explained this chapter beautifully. Ruth is a Proverb 31 woman. A Proverb 31 woman is one who looks beyond selfishness. She knows what she needs to accomplish and do so in a godly way. I see that when a women places her trust in God by following sound advise and direction nothing but good can come from it. Boaz in turn also follow through in his customs. Obedience brings fruit.

Thanks, for notification, really enjoyed, the Book, of Ruth, and always, love how you explain the Bible. I am single, and have been for awhile, I liked the character of Boaz, and how he followed God, even tho, like you said , its' not such much as what is said but, CLINGING to God, by our actions. Plus I do want a man, who believes, in the Lord in every way. Been sort of going through a lot of things, since I lost my mom. Mom was my main focus, when she was here, and I miss her so. Holiday's, aren't to happy, without her. I know people, say , your loved one's are with you in spirit. I block out a lot about mom, not really, tho, but have to carry on. I have a wonderful man friend , whose been raised , in the church, and whose been a blessing, since, mom, has been gone, he loved my mom, He's been helpful to me financially, even tho , he doesn't have much, but always ,shares with me, cause, family and friends, are just about, ghost, since her death, they seem to could care less, if I'm dead or alive. Anyway back to the single, stuff, yes I want a man of God, and someone to protect, me, cause , I have none, since, mom's , been gone, she would , kill a brick as they say for me. I was her ONLY child. This friend, tho people think, he;s my man, but we're just close. No funny business, sex, and all that mess, he hasn't even approached me at all with it. It's nice to have a man, that, loves, to go to church, with you, and can worship, God together with, you. I'm not perfect, but he let's life issues, make him angry, a lot , and talks, LOUD at times, and sounds, hostile. Sometimes, men, take things, out on you, when your smart, and , not that' so much is going on, in my life, I'm changing , all that as we speak, All that's been going on is FUNERAL's , I'm not a funeral, lady, but, that, has, been , almost the only gathering, I can put on clothes, and go to. Anyway, sometimes, not often, he sounds, very hostile, abt situations, that don't really call for it. So as caring as he is, sometimes, ANGER, needs, to be dealt, with, with him and God,. You can't correct something tho, when you, think, everyone else, is the cause of your cursing and Anger. Trying to StOP my, cursing. I know God doesn't like it. So back to Boaz, I really enjoyed, the kind of man, he was, looking out , for Ruth's reputation, and all. It's important to have a man, who honors, you, and God in every way. I'm not tempted, with the CON, some of them, come with, I love me, and I know game, mother taught me, well, and God. Women sometimes, are so smart, but so, gullible, and weak, to the flesh, as well as men,. Their smart with being independent and all that, but brain, dead, when it comes, to men's tricks.! Hope one day, God blesses, me with Mr. Right, my friend is my only, REAL friend, since mom, died, love him, but not marriage material, at all. Plus I'm 58, might have missed, the marriage, thing, I still have hope. Learned from, Ruth, and Boaz, good , let God lead the way, you can't go Wrong, ! Love you, my Sister, looking forward, to the next, Book, Your such a beautiful, smart spirit. I like when you were on with your daughter, and the Tatoo, thing. She said Mom, you, study, and know the Bible more, than anyone, I know. You do, girl, your amazing, and tell it so well. Love walking with you, through the CHAPTER's. very helpful.

I love this teaching. I've heard the same opinions from others about Naomi and how she set Ruth out. But I agree this was already ordained by God. Naomi was used to kind of bring it about. Even if it was done a slight bit off. Thats where Romans 8:28 took root. The bigger picture here is that Ruth had all the qualities it took to attract, recieve and deserve a Boaz type. Boaz was a godly man that led in purity. More confirmation and direction for me. Thanks Kim for having us go deeper in this and not just for a description of a Boaz man, but to be a guide for what God does in our lives if we cling to him, no matter how much pain or mistakes we've made in the past. If we cling God will turn it out for our good! This was also about legacy!💜💜

I am so glad the King loves us enough that His Spirit will show us a future which confirms His love. Those times before I got married I should’ve read Naomi and RUTH story as a reminder of His love.

I have been waiting for this chapter. Like you said, there have been so many opinions on how Naiomi advised Ruth. Loving this study.
Ruth made me smile just seeing how she begins to cling organically chapter after chapter. But when she says to Boaz lay your covering upon ....me made me smile because she is fully in His Spirit now and it’s like she is saying in case you forgot you should do this and that. She laid it out for the brother. - too funny. O Lord my Rock and my Redeemer, greatest treasure of my LONGING SOUL..... That song will be in my heart today.
