We loved Andlesnes - Kayaking looked awesome - Very jealous.. It’s a lovely place. We were lucky with the Gondola - A great video showcasing options for this beautiful port stop .
Even though there was a fair amount of cloud, the scenery still looked very atmospheric and stunning. Very impressed to see your kayaking skills. Today, a Norweigan fjord; tomorrow, Stowe Pool 😅
@@JC-zp4si I hope you have a wonderful time. I imagine it will be very magical going that time of year!! Enjoy yourself. Thanks for watching and commenting 😊
Hello Ladies Enjoying watching your vlog of the Fjords as we are only a week away from doing exactly the same cruise on Aurora so it's been helpful watching all your info and tips. Just a shame we won't get to see all the ports before we go but will watch them all up to next week and on our return to compare notes 🙂. Looks like you had a a fab time so hoping our cruise will be just as good. Thanks for all the detail and tips
@michelleoakes940 thanks so much for your lovely comment Michelle 😊 It was a fabulous cruise and I'm sure you will have a wonderful time. Tomorrow's episode is about Marella cruises but our P&O content continues the following week. If you have any questions about any of the ports just let me know and I will try to answer for you. Have a wonderful time in Norway. Lisa & Olivia
@@TravellingLightLisa Thank you so much Can I just ask did you dine at the Glass House on Aurora and if so did you book in advance. Also are you able to use the P&O app on board to book restaurants etc Look forward to your next update on the Fjords 🙂
@michelleoakes940 hi Michelle we didn't dine in The Glass House but our MDR companion did and said it was the best speciality restaurant on Aurora. I believe you can book it on the app, you may be able to rebook before you board. We heard people coming up to The Glass House reception desk booking slots whilst we were on the cruise so I assume that is also an option. Enjoy your cruise 🛳 Thanks again for watching.
My rail tour was cancelled, so I just got off ship and headed south(ish) from the gondola station, over the central hill/park until I reached the main road, across the river on E136 (v. little traffic) and continued along road towards Grytten Kirke where I ran out of time, so just turned back to ship.
@SteveKxyz Norway is just lovely to wander about and explore. We often like to walk away from where the crowds are to enjoy that tranquility. Thanks for watching 👍
@@ThamesShips I think that Norway is probably one of our favourite locations. I suspect we will be back soon. Thanks for watching again. Hope all is well on the Thames 👍
Filled with admiration for your enthusiasm, even on a cold, grey fjord. Another excellent flog with fascinating detail.
@user-lb4dn2ke3l thank you so much for your lovely comment. It was wonderful even in those cloudy conditions.

Andalsnes looks a great place to visit with plenty of activities. It was a shame about the cloudy day though.

@@TravellingLightLisa Yes - we are looking forward to the Paddle Steamer Waverley coming towards the end of September!
I would imagine very picturesque on a sunny day. Small town though will mean not many bars.
@DiscoDavesPubReviews didn't see any bars but there must have been some I imagine.
