'Agua Caliente' and 'El Paso' from "For A Few Dollars More" is in 'located' in Almeria in the south - yes, bloody far away but worth it.
I think the locals are going to maintain site. It's a tourist attraction.
Been there myself - it was an epic experience even though the place is only a depiction in a film, and usually I target real history locations.
I was never able to appreciate the music from that scene before - now it tears my heart to threds.
Epic scene en breathe taking music. Offcourse the locals should take more Cate art the place but IT Will do for the moment. Better then nothing.

Actually it is the locals who have reestablished the site using own funding.
The names on the tombstones reflects the volunteers....I can see for me the sign in the local village calling for hands:
"Come and dig your own grave"

I live in Brazil, I have never been to Spain, but I was thinking of going to that place of the classic film. I will sell my motorcycle for this. I will run there looking for the tomb that has the "gold" lol

This is the place where the “Eastwood western aficionados”. go to practice their silent film acting skills ……but though not intended. ….it always comes out very-funny………..and though not confirmed ………legend has it ….that the spirit of tuco is still out there looking for gold……and some say ..there is a little bit of tuco in all of us………cheers!….
