I would make a melee build for mobs because fs/rapier is still good for mobs but you would rely on your teammates to have the clump. As far as pugs go I’d recommend always having either a gs/spear or gs/ga setup. Both are easy to make and you will always get invited. Then have your ranged set for bosses. Hope this helps!
it is always good to say what muta you show. Was it ice or nature week? Ice mutation was ok cos good defense but i have more struggles in nature mutation with pugs cos we take so more dmg from humans. I just switch amulet with ice prot
This one was ice, but I can make one for nature. Pugs is tough because you really need a split of gems and some more con for bosses.
This week is void, what way would you advise to do the gem set up? Tia
I would recommend to run around 100 con and then have a half ice swap so you are 25%ish ice and 25% ish void for first boss and run ranged dps, then on last boss I highly recommend a medium setup if you are melee on last boss and the same gem split if you are running light range.
Why not use featherweight chest instead of the pants, is it not better?
You definitely can. I now run 300 str 300 dex and 50 int and you need the pants to get that split.
8:25 How is it that your total attributes points cap at 675 total and mine is only at 625 total? I'm level 65 with 700 gs as well
Food buff, Buy the one that gives you 48 attribute points.

@@Berserker604attuned leather pants as well. It gives +10 to each stat

How are you surviving a hit from those icicles? I have 18k health, elemental aversion, and elemental gems slotted, and they 1-shot me every time. You've only got 12k health. That makes no sense.
So this is during ice week. For nature I would do a split or go heavier on the ice 35-40%. The issue comes with having the dot stacked on you from using abilities and then getting hit. I just run full ice resist and one nature gem on this boss during this week and dodge the icicles.
18k health is what makes you not surviving, the more health the harder to survive
Do you respec in the middle of each expedition to go from melee to ranged?
Yeah it’s not efficient, but it’s what I have to do.
It's better to just offhand a ranged weapon if you plan on range dpsing the bosses
@@Alldayanyday1OnThePS4 m2s sure, but m3s you really want to be as strong as you can. So I would recommend a separate build with your main being ranged and your offhand being lifetaker or finisher for the added dmg it provides for a passive.
@@GageGrizzly we Speedrun GT M3 last week and were running 14-16 min clears
Melee is 100% stronger and higher DPS than range, we don't have any ranged DPS for neither bosses, on troll we don't offhand a ranged weapon and healer stays on void blade.
For final boss the three DPS have their melee weapon mainhand and only have a ranged offhand for the weakpoint to burst them instantly.
With the troll boss it's better to be melee because if everyone is within melee range, he won't charge, but if one person is further than like 5m he'll end up charging.
It's fine to range in a pug though..but respeccing and wasting the 200 gold to respec in the dungeon isn't worth doing
