-used to write the music sheets, got bored, no singers who can really understand them like I do,

they are 5 people with the range if almost an entire keyboard, here you have 1 guy with nearly that same vocal range. of course he will have to sing out if his comfort zone, but he made a very remarkable effort

I honestly don't understand why people are saying "it's sounds very unnatural how sing (insert names here) part". He basically trying to cover 4 DIFFERENT voices/voice type, of course he will sound unnatural. Considering what he had to try to emulate he did a good job. Some might say "well maybe he should practice more before doing it" but maybe if he keeps practicing he can look back at this video and possibly redo it but better (I don't know). Adam Lopez has one of the widest ranges but even he would probably sound 2nd rate to them.
Michael McCloud I agree, he seems to be a tenor/ bari, and for him to hit notes two(even three) vocal ranges higher than what he is supposed to be hitting is nuts
I am genuinely impressed with this and how you managed to memorize the whole thing, figure out the parts, and sound great doing it! 100/10
He doesn't memorize it completely which is why he has headphones in his ears playing the song so that he could hear the words and keep the rhythm. But still his amazing!!!

U know.... PENTATONIX is my favorite and only favorite acappela band and I'm very picky with people who sing their songs because I want perfection lol. Although it isn't in my place..... But U my friend R really amazing. See with them, they have the studio to make their songs perfect but U just did this shit live and U r great. Avi, who is my fave one because of his awesomeness and gorgeousness, U killed his part and I was skeptical at first, but U really did good. If I can somehow convince them to listen to ur covers, they wud so fall in love with U. I was sad that U didn't have Kevin's parts but oh well. U were great

I'l need to leave some critisism. I truly admire you grasped the courage to cover such a song, and went through it. I know you know that some parts were off, and your bass was quite a bit out of your reach. But i'm sure you tried your best to make this possible. The video is very plausable, you have your odd ends, but managed to pull through. good job.

@@dotatv1707 I know this comment is a year old, but you don’t have to be better than someone at something in order to critique them. I definitely couldn’t sing this song on my own, but as a singer, I can still recognize it’s strengths and weaknesses.

Adding on to what Ethan said, some notes on the ends of your range sounded like you used a different syllable than expected, such as humming with your teeth together. Otherwise, this is one of the best covers of PTX's Daft Punk on TH-cam.
