This is the best version of Little Shop of Horrors I ever seen. The actress playing Audrey was incredible and is possibly increasing the popularity of Hillsboro Players because she has an amazing voice. The actor who played Seymour was fantastic! The girls playing the urchins maybe needed a little bit of improvement. The actor playing Orin was amazing, the actor who played Mushnik was so good...I love it, I love it, I love it!

This production was terrible. The energy was terrible. No was excited about anything. The set was cool. That stage itself is beautiful. The urchins... Just... bad... they didn’t smile once like what the hell 😳 Aubrey was great.. Seymour was ok.. mushnick was great. Ensemble was terrible. Choreography was subpar. Man y’all have low standards in these comments.
I agree completely. I’ve done this for decades and I have to say good try, but no where near what it could have been. The director must not have much experience in the musical theatre.

Holy crap wait! They just ended it with Seymour dying as well as not saving the others? I expected a happy ending with Seymour thrusting his machete through the top of the plant with all the others barely alive but now I'm terrified by any plant that is around me...
People are really hard on these obviously not industry proffesional young folk doing their very best. They offer us free entertainment. God forfend, but don't have big bucks to spend on Juliard trained wunderkinds. We have been slowly spoiled by recorded media,ever since the days of the phonograph. The joy of community theater was seeing folks from the community living a poece of their stage dreams. At parties locals would play the piano for singing or a fiddle for dancing. By constantly have perfectly recorded and enginered music thrust upon us, we have lost the joy of somewhat talented and joyful locals getting together to (as Andy Hardy would say) "put on a show").
This is not the best play I’ve seen, but there are some decent parts to be fair but those can’t protect it from the criticism. Before I start I do not hate the play. I see some people pointing flaws and getting called haters. If you do that just know that this is CRITICISM. To start the writing in itself is decent. Ok now the acting is a whole new animal. It’s not good. Do they have their really good moments yes! But most of the time it’s really plain and sounds like they are reading off the paper or don’t wanna be there. This would’ve been a Lot more better if there wasn’t any technical difficulty’s. Which were very annoying. Back to the acting mr.mushnick is very meh along with Seymour. Audrey looks like she’s trying (one of the best) and the chorus girls (1 or even 2) feel like they don’t wanna be there and their singing is hit or miss. The singing is very hit or miss, sadly mostly miss. Mr.mushnick sounds very flat along Seymour and all the same goes with the rest. I didn’t mention Orin but I’ll make it quick; flat acting and mediocre singing. It’s all very flat and meh. It mostly goes down so if I had to give it a rating a good C is the grade. The sets look beautiful and if the actor s got more practice they would’ve been really good. BTW ...... Audrey 2. One of the not so great actors in the play. Less than Decent singing and a some decent acting even if there are a few hiccups and bad moments. But the puppeteering is lackluster and slow. Edit: some more pints added. Oh and the extras were good but did sing out of tune.

One thing I didn't understand is why does orin wear sneakers in the dentist song but he wears boots in the dentist scene with seymour. If you know please tell me because I'm so confused about that
I think it was just because the date was not long after the scene with Seymour and Orin in the office together and he didn't have time to change his shoes but I don't understand why he'd wear sneakers either
Some of these songs sound just awful! Those singers sounded so bored! Some of them have a lot of potential! They need to be more energetic, and, sorry, work on pitch.
