Another of the Brought to this Piece by the Sojourn. I love Taylor's covers and after hearing her play in the Audio Drama I had to come back and listen to this. The association I have with this music now is just Amazing the Feeling of Exploration in every aspect.
HOLY CRAP!!! I heard this song in Spacedock's The Sojourn, and yeah he mentions the name of the song (that they used a song called Wilderness), but I didn't hear it anywhere in the OST they released with Vol 1. I looked all around for it because it was easily my favorite track in the Sojourn...Then I gave up and a bit later I blindly stumble on it here!!! WOW

I love when a thing i like introduces me to another thing I like. for instance this song was introduced via a roughly thirty second credits scene on spacedock. it gives their project an eerily familiar firefly tone. yet is still fun and original enough to stand alone in its own right. and this song is just so beautiful I'm amazed I've never heard of taylor before i will definitely be keeping up with more of her work, since its so hard to hear anything on violin that's not david garret or lindsey sterling, (they're favorites of mine but if you eat chocolate every day. you'll eventually get sick of it) keep making the world beautiful girl, we thank you.

Its been 5 years since i last listened to this marvelous song. So many memories hidden in this. My childhood, my old friends who are not in my life anymore, my first love, a life without problems, a life without suffer.. i had all of these things back then when this song was released. Now i am 23, searching for something to hold on, searching for something to make me happy, searching for something that would solve everything but they are hidden in wild lands where i can found everything i had. To reach my goal, i have to beat the wild forest, where it can eat me alive but i will not stop as at my side walks hope. Thank you Taylor, you reminded me something that i forgot.
My daughter happened upon Taylor Davis’ first album of original recordings which I acquired in 2015 as part of that crowdfunding. As you are describing my daughter was going through tough times “adulting” while leaving behind the simpler life of youth. Like you she found solace and encouragement to move on in Taylor’s music. I have continued to acquire her work which we enjoy to the present.
Hang in there and keep looking to the future taking notice of what more you can do and are doing than compared to when you were younger. Growing up does mean leaving some things behind but also acquiring more freedoms to be yourself.
This is my favorite original song Taylor Davis it's just so peaceful and gives u the feeling when u are in the woods

Your music and choice of scenery are truly majestic. Incredible song, and as I was watching, I started recognizing the location you shot this at. It's been hard for me to think of that area as the beautiful heaven on earth that is was, then the memories came flooding back. Knowing what happened to a large portion of the Gorge and having been so depressed about it for awhile, your music with the cinematography, along with the memories that I have made there with my family have brought joy to my heart. i started playing 3 years ago and im not nearly as professional and as good as her but I know some people who pick it up extremely well and they practice 5 hours a day and can play like this... but taylor davis and lindsey stirling have been my inspiration all along- hopefully I can reach a good level of skill but anyways-just so you know- its really hard to learn violin
