കണ്ണൂർ ജില്ലയിലെ മടമ്പം എന്ന കുഗ്രാമത്തിൽ, ഒരു സാധാരണ കുടുംബത്തിലാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ജനനം. സാമ്പത്തികമായി വളരെ പിന്നോക്ക അവസ്ഥയിലായിരുന്ന ഈ കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ ആശ്രയം അമ്മയായിരുന്നു. അമ്മ മറ്റുവീടുകളിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തു കിട്ടുന്ന തുച്ഛമായ വരുമാനം കൊണ്ടാണ് കുട്ടികളുടെ പഠനവും മറ്റ് നിത്യവൃത്തികളും നടത്തിയിരുന്നത്. അഡ്വക്കേറ്റ് ആകണമെന്നായിരുന്നുജോസ് അബ്രാമിന്റെ ആഗ്രഹം. പത്താം ക്ലാസ് കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോഴേ കൂലിപ്പണിയും മറ്റ് ചെറിയ ചെറിയ ജോലികളും ചെയ്ത് പൈസ സ്വരൂപിച്ചു.അങ്ങനെ സ്വരൂപിച്ച പൈസയു മായി Delhiൽ വരികയും Civil Service പരീക്ഷയുടെ Coachingനായി joint ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തു .കൈയ്യിലുള്ള പൈസ തീരുകയും സാമ്പത്തികമായി വളരെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകയും ചെയ്ത അദ്ദേഹം Pizza Store Order Taker ആയും Call Centreലും ജോലി ചെയ്തു. ഏറെ Struggles Face ചെയ്ത Jose വിട്ടുകൊടുക്കാൻ തയ്യാറായില്ല.
Delhi യിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ അവസ്ഥ വളരെ വിഷമഘട്ടത്തിലായിട്ടും never give up എന്ന് മനസിലുറപ്പിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം hard work ചെയ്ത് മുന്നേറി. ആഗ്രഹം പോലെതന്നെ Jose Abraham ഇപ്പോൾ ഒരു Advocate ആയി തുടരുന്നു. പ്രവാസി മലയാളികൾക്കായി നിയമപരമായ സഹായങ്ങളും പ്രവാസി Legal Cell എന്ന സംഗധന വഴി Jose ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ട്.

Jose Abraham had a tough childhood where he had to work along with studying in school to support his family monetarily. Jose Abraham's mother worked as a maid to provide a good education to her kids. His ambition to become an advocate wasn't received well by his family. Jose Abraham believed that struggle makes you stronger and thus kept working hard for success. Jose Abraham has worked as an order taker at a pizza store, and in call centers just to earn enough to fund his further studies. He worked hard for success and became an advocate by his sheer willpower and to fulfill his childhood dream of becoming an advocate.
Jose Abraham learned from his days as a laborer that he needs to study further and achieve his goals and that he had to struggle to succeed. Jose Abraham's struggle story serves as an inspiration to everyone who wants to give up and it motivates them to succeed in life.

Shri Jose Abraham sir a big thank you, as you have come up in life inspite of several bottlenecks in your path. It is due to sheer grit and determination that you have achieved your goal of becoming an advocate. You have got the blessings of the nurses, who are an exploited lot. In private hospitals they are paid a very meager salary despite supreme court orders in this regard. When I came to Mumbai in 1972, I was also fresh with Malayalam medium background, but reading English newspapers helped me a lot. Really you are an inspiration to all youngesters to think out of box and finding solutions, and surviving in a highly competitive field.
