Usually during the spawn season most of my bites are like 10ft that one reminds me of the native stripers that usualy end up biting middle of the river.
Nice! Seeoiusly where is everyone. Lol. But The jerkbait bite been just hit or miss. Unlike other years. Ppl fishing Freeport and feather river already. That place a bit far drive. Lol. Nice job bro.
Its a far drive, but this is like the only spot after the season is over that still hits in June. Maybe I'll fish hood and yellow bridge until the end of the month. Than come back in June here.
I was there that same day i remember that blue truck was following me..i was fishing the left side of the bridge, right side of u guys..saw the boil too nd caught a keeper that day..water still murky so is harder for jerkbait, is a hit n miss only for that spot now..
Try the slow reel technique, throw your jerkbate out there and jerk it like 2 or 3 times then slow reel, you will feel the bite better, and you have a better chance hooking the fish because you can set the hook better.
I forgot to reset the drag the last time I got stuck and when I was adjusting it. The striper decided to smack it far away. Caught me off guard. Yes your right about the slow tech. It seems this year is odd they seem to want the slow more than the consistant run.
Great video! Nice fish 😎

I honestly think that we are so obsessed that we assume everyone's there. I make the same comment in my video "how is no one here?"
@@arsfishing it kinda was odd because usually that spot is packed like Hood but it wasnt this year
Clear water means time to bring out the jerkbaits. Nice catch.
I think it just really picked up the week I did this video for lures.
Nice 💯

What's the location of this fishing spot
Iselton
I think that was a smallmouth
Keeps looking like a spot too with the side patterns but i think ur right the face tells it for a smallie
Man go back there now on fire bro boils haha who gonna be there first I no I was haha
boils were like so much in the middle of the river for sure. hard to pick which side to hit
Throw a 2 to 3 0z kastmaster n let it hit da botton then pop it off da bottom 2 to 3 time then reel in slowly still hitting if no boil
@@Gofucurself123 maybe ur right id probably have to start throwin that wobbler spoon i have in the tackle box. I was only using that for steelhead.
