  • We talk about the worst managers we've ever had and what they taught us!
We are twins Max and Maya Price. We talk about business, wellbeing, and being queer.

Great idea for a video! The first one really threw me though because I'm sure I do stuff like that all the time and I would say "I'm ok don't worry" to feel kinder/friendlier/less blunt rather than just saying, "I'm ok, no thanks". I'm learning that less is more with what we say sometimes, especially at work (dependent on situation of course). When you say the manager came across as a martyr, is that because she didn't accept help when it appeared she needed it? Please explain if you can :) I want to learn from this. I don't always accept help in my personal life, like when I moved in to my new place I didn't want the landlord to fix up my desk even if he might have done it faster, because doing it myself was a personal thing I wanted to do... but I suppose the workplace is difference, plus, I've never been a manager! Hope this makes sense x
