justin, you're a gentleman and a scholar.
Bro your kicking out some banging beats dope video! 10/10👍👍
major props to dude and dubspot.. all 3 parts v helpful.
This is nice. It's a "Mashine tutorial", but is really for any pad based sample playback box. I remember watching Aswell's "Break it down" routine as he played it on an MPC. Now I'm inspired to break out my Roland SP-555 to see what I can make it do.
Excellent Justin. Keep the tutorials coming Part 4 please
It's a real pleasure to hear your tutorials. Thank you
2:00 "see how they happened". YEA I SAW YOU OWN IT LIKE A BOSS!!!

USEFUL!! (and this man is a true entertainer) Well Done.
Dudes finger drumming is fire
MORE VIDEOS ON MASCHINE PLEASE!
one video on strictly hardware and onther on strickly software would be awesome!!! most people watching these videos dont have a masci=hine but are in the proccess eaaither saving up for one or on the edge of purchasing this great instrument. i would also recommend some rythem tutorals like how to feel the beat mentaly.... write back or make some soon.... thumbs up if u agree
really enjoy your practical techniques. you touched on transitioning between pad sets, do you approach song transitions the same way.
Great video, really good tips for sample mapping. Definitely will try some of the ideas, especially using effects to move through different banks of sound.
Very useful tutorials, love the delay trick, very clever... But I guess I'll keep using the step sequencer for now 😂
Shalom wow genius thanks for the teaching legends
Great pointers looking to incorporate these in my sessions!! Thanks
So awesome. Thanks!

Great fucking video man really helpful
I like that intro.
Great tutorial. Great guy!
you are good man
what a dude..
Ideas on WHAT to put on the pads. Like when he was hitting the pads with the pianos on it, etc.
awesome
i want to see some tutorials on how to sample, and munipliate those samples. add effects. slow it down, speed it up. that type of thing.
Excellent!
Thanks! Really great tutorials (want more!). :)
Great tutorial! One comment regarding constant BPMs though. I'm not a Black Eyed Peas fan, but they have songs with tempo changes mid-song that I've heard at clubs.
really sick tips
dubspot, i didnt get the technique that starts at @3:18 the snare choking and making it sound faster.. could you guys please break it down ? thanks..
thanks
You look better without the beard.
Exceeeeeelllllleeennnt tut.
Dubspot, how do the maschine combine two sounds to a single pad? I have a maschine and currently still trying to play it live, great tutorials that you guys post! thank you
This guy is good shit.
hi please help, any tip on how to make a one pad to sound like from the vid it have a bass drum with the hihat, and how come the snare is alternating when he push the 2 pads at the same time, i hope more vids like this on the future more power dubspot and mr.invisible Justine Aswell, any help are all appreciated, thank you in advance.
Have you tried the fixed velocity setting? If not press pad mode then F3. That fixed the problem for me.
Would love to see someone doing some dupstep on maschine mikro.
GOOD STUFF
i want to see you use it with an apc40 and a traktor S4 to mix live beats, (played or loopsed) along with music tracks, mixing them with the traktor, at the same time as you're making rhythm tracks with bass, plucks, stabs, pads, piano, with an axiom pro 49 and mixing them in as well with the s4. add a mic in the mixer that you sing into using ableton live for processing, so you can perform house music live. if you can add in an electric guitar, you've ruined my plans to take over dance music.
big ups!!!
nice tut, chaps ;)
Justin I have a kit with just drums should the snares be poly and everything else be choked? I'm using an mpc.
Every time ur fingers were playing the pads I lost you. But liked and subscribed
Top notch
Do a video about n using the
Akai synthstation 49
Thanks
I'd like to see Maschine videos on song creation. Get Mr Invisible (MI), he is an incredible instructor, because he says you can do it like this or maybe like this. He shares years of knowledge in a funny way. Very transparent ... he shares. Rock on Mr Invisible. I would like to see song creation in combination with LIVE or Logic ... workflow approachES (like this or like that) Thank you Dubspot, thank you MI
Want more tutorials from him :P
Deh-deh-deh-deh-deh-deh-deh-de-deehh !!! xD

very nice vids but simpler drums would prolly help comprehension to my opinion. will have to slow down the vid a little bit a couple of times to clearly understand the live playing techniques. im a slow learner too so might be me hehe. thanks for the tutorials. dont get me wrong. i did appreciate it
I want to do the note repeat with the snare like he said and I press note repeat and the pad I have the snare in.....it does it but how do I lock it on that pad? It only does it when I hit note repeat??
i would like a dubstep tutorial
How do you put the Snare and Cymbal on the same pad? I tried putting them on another group, and then recording on the Cymbal Pad(internal) by pushing play. But then it is no longer a "one shot" and I have to hold down the pad to make it ring out. Turning things from "one shots" and vice versa seems to stump me.
Is your only school in NYC?? How much is it?
GREAT video, thanks!
GOOD POST
you should make a website where you daily/weekly upload a video and charge a one time fee of like 10$ for people to join the website forever, its not too much or too little and everyone that wants to learn would pay.
how do you assign two sounds to the same pad? mapping?
you need to think more. the samples consist of two sounds. don't complicate things that can be simple
i wanna have this awesome live samples, its so hard to cut that Kick/Snare etc. combinations :D
Total bro
i always wondered how you played so fast.
Cool :D
how did you have two sounds in one pad
so f-kin funny man!and iformative too)
0:41 reminds me of the yellow dude from Sin City
tracking out scenes plz
more producers
some live breakcore/hardcore/frenchcore . fuckyeah
you are some sort of warlock wizard i guess
he reminds me of daniel tosh! or rob dyrdek, but more tosh.
i'm sure you could find a mapping to fix that.

🌚🎶♾
0:40 - Skrillex would disagree.
can some one help me i have a problem with my maschine mikro software if anybody can help me contact me please :)
haha high five brov
Really?...
BPM = Beats Per Minute. As the name suggests, it means how many 'beats' (mostly 1/4 notes) are played a in minute.
one person didn't want to play live
nasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So sklilled you dont realize how bad we are...
French translate sucks... Too bad for me but thanks for help me anyway !
