I made an update video about the combat mastery system if you need more guidance on what to pick - th-cam.com/video/MldeKT5oS4Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=4eB6jVBQkspKpmZE
the echo orb is NOT guaranteed for all bosses, they have a drop chance. The only exceptions are Hespori and Sol Heredit, that have a guaranteed echo orb drop
This league is going to be my first time ever being a member. Great video, very helpful. I'm not planning on doing anything meta but 2 months isnt a long time
2 months might not sound like a lot but in leagues it is. It's super easy to get your region unlocks and most of your relics within a week, and at that point you're just farming for the sake of farming and doing whatever is fun. By 2 weeks you start getting bored and burnt out. There's still 6 weeks after that. Unless you literality only play 2 hours a week, 2 months is heaps of time. And it's runescape, everyone here can throw 20 hours a week into the game easily. If you couldn't, you wouldn't even know the game existed as it's not for you. You can also afk a lot of your progression on mobile, so that's a possibility for people who are constantly moving around doing stuff
I just need to know which regions have the most points and the least amount of high-level combat required to get them. I just want to like, chop trees and mine rocks and generally vibe all the way to dragon tier. But vibe in a sweaty way. Excessive combat is too stressful. Clicking a few times and out-dpsing the enemy through stats is more my style.
Combat style choice is not guaranteed to happen. All we know is that we will have combat masteries which will be very different from previous leagues. So nobody knows what to expect
I'm kind of thinking that combat masteries are basically XP or tasks from using a specific style. Meaning you can focus on leveling up Melee... or split your attention to improve both melee and range or something. I just hope for some information about combat masteries soon.
Ok, I have never played an OSRS league, and I feel like there are no videos for someone like me. What should I be reading, watching, reviewing to figure out how to even get started?
Honestly the osrs wiki has a lot of useful info. I typically have it up most of leagues. For videos there will be many people making all sorts of guides. I personally watch Scritic and doubleshine they've made a couple of vids together this year as well. They go over all leagues specific things as well as any notable things from the different areas. But the most important part of leagues is to not take it too seriously and just have has much as you can. This is looking to be the best one yet!
ah man, my friend keeps telling me how awesome this game mode is but rs in general is just way too addictive for me to play it again at this point it's just too big of a timesink. I'd love to dig into leagues but I know my private life and work will have to suffer way too much for doing so i wish they implemented a similar gamemode with like 1/4th of these xp rates in a normal server, so you could have fun and waste some of your time but never feel pressured to log in. That would be perfect for me.
I wanna learn colosseum this leagues, but im kinda clueless of what region/relics to pick, do u guys have any recomendations? All iknow is that scythe would be awesome to get
If theirs no production protegy wc relic will be best. Reason bank note notes all ore and it notes all aurmout to put in foundry. Fishing just bank note and use do birdhouses- herby. But wc has two benifits if your not zeah. Firemaking meaning less clicking with hand and dont need to find a good area to burn logs. plus the shafts are just a bonus. So if we get production protegy im taking mining. If i dont im taking woodcutting. The first banking is useless once bank note comes. So all that matters is cooking- smelting or firemaking. Which is more click intensive. I think woodcutting relic could be big because frem isnt a starter region its a end game unlock. Having a axe early can really get fast points from forestry.
Mining we just do stars, motherload mine and bank note. Bank note if what made me reconsider mining - wc and the fishing relic is useless since ill be recieving fast games of temross anyway from the ppl who took the relic.
@@Hunter77567 but with the fishing relic, you get cooked food (and EXP) to use with bankers note in PvM situations, also just stand full AFK at karambs for a lot of clue scrolls to use with the clue compass relic. WC you can just bring a tinderbox/knife with you and mining ... well, it's mining, it'll suck regardless.
You get a lot more than just banking items with those relics. Auto smelting is super valuable as you don't need coal, production prodigy still would need coal (if it exists). The fishing one also boosts hunter as traps don't fail, giving a significant xp boost. All 3 of them boost your rates of gathering rarer resources by a significant amount, WC can only really benefit from magic and yew logs but fishing has anglers/sharks, mining has runite and amethyst etc. Anglers/sharks being some of the best food you'll access, and runite being autosmelted into rune bars for infinite gold, arguably way better than magic logs. Also WC is already super afk, so picking a relic to make it even more afk seems redundant. Mining can be afk'ed with shooting stars but the xp rates will be boosted significantly mining runite or amethyst or even just adamant because of the 50% chance and the ores lasting longer. Fishing is pretty afk so no change there
@@MyNameIsSalo i'll go with the fishing relic since i'm also going with the bankers note, so having a massive food stack will help me alot. the auto smelt rune ores into bars can be nice, but infinite cash is easy anyways, i'll be picking Varlamore as my 1st region unlock, so i'll get a gem stall with uncut rubies and can sell it back, literally printing me cash. Also, i'll be doing some afk karambs while working, so i'll get a lot of clue scrolls stacked and i'll be picking the clue compass relic, which means a lot of alchs as well from that.
This will be my first leagues. I planned on doing range and mage but now im thinking maybe range and melee is the way to go? Idk anyone have any tips? I was thinking also kourend desert and fremmy but now idk
I'm thinking morty (barrows etc), wildy (no pvp deaths, tons of busted methods, fun bosses), but then I'm between varla for bloodmoon etc but I don't care about the boss there OR I can do asgarnia for the dogsword / easirr boss / gwd. Thoughts?
How will we access it? Is Leagues a button we hit on the login screen of our current account? Or do we need to bond up a brand new account to play? If it's the former, can I afk on my main while playing the league at the same time?
You can play on your main account, there will be Leagues worlds available on 27th November so you can just world hop but can't play main game and Leagues at the same time on 1 account.
highscores on your profile in the leagues tab, reward points to spend in the shop on tradeable cosmetics, and experience in content you haven't yet tackled
Quests that require multiple regions are usually auto-unlocked when you unlock the relevant region, like desert gives you DT2 as it is a quest that is based in the desert but has you going to many other regions so you can't complete it normally. Priff gives you SOTO because otherwise you couldn't even access the area. Kandarin won't auto complete waterfall quest as it is fully contained in that area, but if you pick Priff you need waterfall quest for SOTO so it will auto complete it and you won't get the xp from the quest. So you will miss out on quest xp, but some quests are still accessible
Spec builds are perfect for gwd farming and such but in long fights they always fall off because spec is plentiful, but not infinite. We’ll see how good spec relic is.
I went Ranged last leagues so now i want to try something else, but i will wait until the combat masteries to make a final decision. I'm leaning towards melee with wilderness, tiranwyn and fremmy, i won't lie, i'm a bit afraid of the gauntlet, i never did it before and i don't have very good reflexes, and the echo boss will most likely be very hard, so...yeah, same thing with DKs, but hey, if i can die an infinite amount of times and lose nothing then at least i will try XD
I really hope they'll make dual style a thing this leagues, I want to go ranged since i'll pick Varla and Desert as my #1 and 2, so the KQ blowpipe would be massive, but i'm also getting ancients with the Desert and Tumaken shadow with ToA.
@@DarkDyllon Theres a relic that will allow you to have any spell book/prayers unlocked and also every raid gives a chance at the megas, so you can get ancients and shadow without taking Desert if you wanted to take something else.
I cant bring myself to play leagues. My account is only only mobile and im working on maxing. 2 months is alot of wasted xp since i cant log in two accounts at once on my phone.
from this comment it sounds like you want to play leagues , if youd prefer to max your account over playing leagues than thats completely fine but i dont think you should look at it as wasted xp, just think of fun . you could play your main whenever you feel like but you cant play leagues all year round. just do whatever you think youd enjoy the most
The tip of, go with the flow and dont het stuck on fully optimizing every little detail is a great one for me. Will be my first league and already feel overwhelmed, but just like you said, just enjoy and have fun. Will try to do that!

This is how I feel for DMM
@JEast420 oh yeah DMM was an absolute blast to play this year

Great addition to the conversation. Thank you so much!
Great vid. As a nooby player I'm pretty overwhelmed with how to approach the league but this helped me a lot!
I'm an ex player and am intrigued.
I won’t even get to a point to fight bosses or echo bosses lol, i’m just gonna have fun with the relics
And that is fine too man :)
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO KRIIBUS
letting my girlfriend unlock my regions, she doesn't play runescape lol

how do you even get armour and weapons without making them yourself??
found this vid too, exactly what I needed ty! Take my subscription!
I agree it best way to learned the area as specially if you wonder what area is like before you actually unlock it in main game.
ive never done any leagues content before i gotta try this time
The Hunter relic will be nice in valamore. Echo items are going to be great.
It’s a chinchompa relic specifically, only working with Chins unfortunately
@@wtfmymoney ah, chins are legit, but that is a little lame.
@@anthonylusk4855 it gives extra benefit to chins, but all hunter traps never fail. so still good with Val

pick relics that give you a massive early boost rather than ones that sound good long term

Is elite harder than master when it comes to echo boss difficulty?
Elite is the easiest version, then comes master and then grandmaster difficulty.
