I tried absolutely everything. Nothing worked from any advice I found on Google or here on TH-cam. The hero for me was my sister-in-law. She said: "What about a Firewall blocking your connection"? Boom, Windows defender firewalls were on for public and private networks. Fixed! UPDATE! That did not work as it disconnected again. Had a computer guy here for 2 hours, had him totally baffled as well. He left without fixing after trying virtually every suggested solution known to man. Then he found someone having the same issue with that network card. Bring the laptop right next to the router and try it. THAT WORKED! It connected right away. This makes no sense as it would at least try to authenticate to neighboring wifi signals. With the one in our house one room away it wouldn't even get that far in the process. Just "cannot connect to this network" message. Hope this helps someone else with an HP Z-book, windows 11.

i was strugling with this problem, and i found a solution, go to network settings > Wifi > Manage Known Network > Select the network you cant connect to > Advanced Wifi network Setting > Checklist the connect automatically when this network in range + connect even if the network is not broadcasting it's name box. This one works for me, i hope it works for someone with the same problem as me

It can only connect to 5ghz wireless network. I have used a Huawei Modem with 2.4ghz and 5ghz frequency band. I have search online but cant find one until i have found this video and the first method had worked for me. Once again thanks😍❤❤.

First method did not work started doing second method but found that I could reset all network adaptors this worked for me thank you
