I remember seeing this trailer with my friends because the slut joke stood out to me and "its time", we were 11-12. I remember looking at them as older than me too. My dad took me to that film and it moved him enough to tell me that he smoked weed sometimes, this is what led me to start doing that and I got hooked. I never watched that movie again for about 4 years, and in those years I experienced exactly what Logan's character went through with love, not fitting in, exploring the world with deep respect while trying to understand everything, drugs and especially feeling infinite. Perhaps much more intensely and realistic than shown in the movie. "its time" always reminded me of young love, new euphorias and hope for the future when I was that young. I was pursuing music and didn't believe in the future and did pretty much everything that a high schooler would dream of doing, and would fear. Rewatching it as a senior ripped my heart out. And as a 21 year old adult, youth over, no college, it is rather depressing. You really do feel infinite and feel is the key word. I pine to feel that feeling once more everyday, even if not in those words. I cannot put into words the emotions I want to express, but they are so powerful that if I could I could probably make a million dollars off of it. For now I will just say that I somehow lived the most beautiful, painful youth and I wish I could go back in time, I beg god. We are not infinite.
this feeling that you have is part of growing up and is completly normal , you have those memories to be gratefull for . I feel like life goes in waves , there will come a situation that will make you feel the same way but also different
It's been six months, and even just that might be enough for you to look back on this and cringe while enjoying a bittersweet laugh. You're still in your early twenties, and you might be surprised how much you look back on this decade itself as yet another chapter in your youth, albeit more fairly called "young adulthood" or such. I appreciate you opening up about all this, but in time I hope you understand more and more why this brings me a wry smile, almost cracking up into laughter as I read of your sentiment, and that one day, you'll understand I didn't mean to be mocking and what's more, that you reread these heartfelt, grandiose words of yours and smile even bigger and laugh even harder as the one who wrote them from personal experience.
I reminisce about reading the book the first time when I was fourteen. I was 24 when this came out so it didn't resonate quite as much (but now at 32 it's speaking to me again lmao). ❤️
Yeah, totally. The movie came out at the beginning of my sophomore year of high school and i finally read the book right after i started my sophomore year of university.
This movie totally spoke to me. I was 14 at the time, struggling with my mental health. As I'm typing this I have the semicolon tattooed on my wrist. Definitely an emotional feeling that this movie and story gives me. 💕
Hi people. I started to be close to these two lady friends, and was really crushing on one of them that I didn't know so well. We became kind of a trio eating out and going to movies and messing around with tarot cards. So yeah, even though I was thirty-something (when the movie came out), I could in a huge way relate to Sam, Patrick and especially Charlie. -- Late Bloomer
its time to begin, isn't it I get a little bigger but then I'll admit, I'm just the same as I was now don't u understand that I'm never changing who I am

Emma watson always sounds restrained and wooden as if shes playing the same character hermione in every role never fits the part of someone flexible that can take on characters and act into a role, little realism from her, kinda ruins it
Percy Jackson, Hermione and The Flash, man what a movie
don't forget ant man, elena gilbert and hannah bakers mom
And sheril from shameless
No no. Not the flash but Kevin.
And Carl from jimmy neutron

“Everlong” by foo fighters gives me that exact feeling you’re describing, except it kind of does end on a ‘we are infinite’ note to me. 💌

Emma your American accent is... Well shit
inglish movie
so many American actresses and they find a British one who then has to try to change her accent to sound American? yea makes sense
Armando Koz, Emma Watson is the best, no other actress is going to beat her
Her character was American, born in and raised in America, it would have changed her character if she had a posh English accent.
It was alright but kind of a depressing love story.. a little gloom and Doom for me.
