Sorry that happened. Fortunately, you have the man power, equipment and knowledge to do the repair yourselves. That would be a hefty bill if you had to hire the work out. On to the next one!
Glad you didn't find the hole. Reminded me of the time we were putting cable in a new housing tract. Lunchtime and the catering truck sounded the horn. I had on hip high waders and jumped over the curb line onto where the pavement would be and sunk in the mud almost to the top of the boots. It took me a good 15 minutes to get my boots and legs out of that quick sand /muddy trench. Every time I tried to pull my leg out it would come out of the boot and I'd be standing on one leg like a flamingo and pull the boot out, put my foot back in, then repeat for the other boot. . . . . . . Sure glad no one was there to witness the ordeal although I think I gave God a good laugh that day. 😄
What you need is a 2" water flow meter that will call your cell phone when it sees a spike in the amount of water flowing each minute. So set it up to trip a alarm when the water flow is above 85 GPM. Maybe if you intend to use that much water, you can ignore the call, but if it happens when it is not supposed to happen, you can shut off the water meter as soon as possible. I am sure you can get that set up for less than the $10,000 record payment you made to the water company last year, and probably will be making this year as well. It might even include a solenoid valve that can shut off the water automatically when the flow rate is above 85 GPM. The digital flow meter on Amazon is only $163 for 2". They also sell a 3". But they did not show a output signal that can stop the water flow once a certain value is met. The 2" can read 21 GPM to 185 GPM, while 3" is 21 GPM to 264 GPM. I am sure that someone will have a product that can shut off the water flow once a value of 85 GPM or 120 GPM is reached. It might save you the next $10,000 water bill.
You should treat the pump like a garbage disposal. If it hums and doesn't turn the impeller might be stuck. You can try spinning it manually and getting it free. It's worth a shot.
as usual Aaron saves the day, hope you give us an update on what went wrong with the old pump, great video Ryan and i'm glad i wasn't in your boots today 👍👍👍👍👍
A good operator always washes the machines tracks and I was "pumped" to watch this video Always good to see you Mr Digg and congratulations on the ever increasing sub count friend 👍
Good u guys found the pump, at least u can get one ordered an get that water out of there , yeah Ryan I played with electrical all day today, some high some low, but that's what I do, ya know since I am a electrician 😂, it will give u energy lol, thanks for sharing buddy, an I look forward to seeing the next video 🇺🇲🤙✊💪👍🇺🇲
I commented on DPs channel and some how ended up here which it totally odd, anyway great video of you guys playing in the water bro. Safe travels y'all. Ken. It was MBTS girl who went for her licence
Waders. 🤔 Yes. 😅 Edit: Everytime a piece of equipment goes out. Mark how long and put in an alert a year ahead to check it every 14 days in that year to make sure it hasn't broke yet. Purchase the replacement ahead of time to prevent extra down time. This was an accounting "exercise" in a college class bi once took. I believe it was called planning for breakdowns to save costs.
Hi Cleveland. Nova Scotia, Canada 🇨🇦 here. It’s been downright balmy there the last two days, between 50 and 57 degrees. Going to hover around 25 this weekend, but then go back up to between 41 and 46 by Tuesday/Wednesday.
Thanks for posting been dealing with water this last two weeks and costing you money one way or another what is that pump used for is there always water in that area and what used for im not sure just asking cause we had four pumps to move water in 93 had a flood knocked out water plant was under water but used ate pump at veterans post basement flooded had to pump out but slowly took three weeks so walls wouldn't collapse but got it done just wondering what that pump was used for thanks for posting and answer and to aron the man don't know what you do without him smart man and brother also thanks mr digg
Love y’all’s hats and great videos you give me something to watch during the day so I don’t get bored love how you said duck dynasty how many excavators do you have man 😂 love the vent on the komatsu door love how you jumped to try to get your waiter’s on love how Aaron claps and the stick in the excavator thumb love how you laughed and how you adjusted your hat love how araon coughs love Aaron’s necklace I’m definitely going to have to come visit 19:17 love how you looked at the camera let’s dig is going to love that comment about the impact gun 😂 love how you said hit maestro love how you said yummy that’s what she said 😂 love how araon said crap is that yellow sticker on the counter weight how much the excavator weighs love how araon cleared his throat love how araon ripped the sticker off and wiped his hands on his waders
My blood pressure is finally going down. Please never go into water with a excavator and power lines overhead. I know you knew what you were doing but please let us know you are aware of them. The Go Pro does not show dimensions like you see.
Miluakee is like ford they dream and shoot for fences some good some BAD aka 3 valve engines. Dewalt like Chevy just boring same old reliability so pick your poison.
No disrespect Ryan but if you would have found the big hole with your waders on and Aaron would have had to jerk you out with the excavator you would have gotten more comments 😂😂😂
19:18 actually… Lol my Milwaukee tools do sewer and water no problem. I’m used to a greasy impact but my pipe impact is mud caked.
Those multi sided impact sockets are a pain when you are working on rusted stuff. Get a set of 6 sided hex impact sockets. They don’t round so easily!
Sorry that happened. Fortunately, you have the man power, equipment and knowledge to do the repair yourselves. That would be a hefty bill if you had to hire the work out. On to the next one!

Looks like a good spot for a new dredging pond.. it holds water.
you got a point!

That messing with water pumps in cold weather is no fun. Been there done that. We just did not have to wade out like that. lol
I hate being cold!
Aaron is such a good help
You are a hard worker guy and your employees work hard for you and respect you and keep up the good work
Aaron to the rescue; I'm glad, that pump is going to be taking care of...
I was really PUMPED watching this video Ryan
hahaha
Get warmed up!!! Better days are coming!!
I hope so, I'm freezing to death!
At least it's clean water in a good location. Imagine if it drained into your cd waste pit, I imagine it'd be considered leachate.
Thank you for another Great video. Cheers

Always good to see you Mr Digg and congratulations on the ever increasing sub count friend 👍
Thanks 👍
Good morning Ryan and Aaron that's what ya call a helluva mess man
Oh, sure .... Blame it on the CLOTHES that your waders don't fit !!! 😂😂😂
(It might be Cocos' cooking.)
lol, putting on Winter weight to stay warm hahaha
Today is Friday the 13th. I'm gonna say that is why your luck is going so well. Best of luck to you Ryan
Get to impeller and see if a rock has it bound...if that crack is not in the housing, it may make a suitable backup...
What it's like standing in 20.000$ of cold water looks like fun to me😂😂😂😂😂😂
lol, interesting way to think about it!
21:00 You should pick up the bolts and nuts so that they can't be sucked into the water pump and damage it.
whoops....too late
thank you
Appreciate ya
A ARon always got u covered.
I always tell people my waders are hard to get on over extra layers too....😁
good landfill video
Good u guys found the pump, at least u can get one ordered an get that water out of there , yeah Ryan I played with electrical all day today, some high some low, but that's what I do, ya know since I am a electrician 😂, it will give u energy lol, thanks for sharing buddy, an I look forward to seeing the next video 🇺🇲🤙✊💪👍🇺🇲

@TheRealMrDiGG oh I don't plan on it, I don't need that energy
3:30 I’m betting 1 1/4”, 1 1/8 or 15/16. Possibly 3/4
Good morning Ryan and crew

Go to harbor freight and get a set of wiggle sockets for impact. They are awesome in this situation
great idea
@ they are super handy to have! And they are guaranteed for life too
Good Morning guys
Don’t drop the GoPro! Lol
Good job so far. But, now on to the ivy. You have extended need for a cherry picker. Go for it.
👍👍
You should try make a sand castle A. A.
Well, you didn't dance ... the electrical was off. That's a good thing!
What would you do without Aaron?
You’re going to have to sell a lot of sand to pay that water bill.
you aint kidding
I am not familiar with ag water lines can you place a shut off in line.
thers a shut off, just not automatic
What's up Mr Digg from sunny Delray Beach,FLORIDA.

And watch out for the gaiters 😂
It might be able to maneuver around in water. BUT there ain't no way that it will float.
Maybe the USMC they do a lot of training in your area!

At least you have clean water and not waste water (sewage). Hope you did LOTO on power feed.
🙂
:)
That pump don't suck
lol, nope
Ask your landfill director if they can and will take my diapers and I as waste.
landfill director said "quit talking sh1t!"
Hey you think y'all would help you put them waders on he must be phobic
Don’t blame it on the clothes . Holiday season is more likely.
just putting on some weight for the Winter, hahaha
@ me too!
You two look like you are ready for hunting
My blood pressure is finally going down. Please never go into water with a excavator and power lines overhead. I know you knew what you were doing but please let us know you are aware of them. The Go Pro does not show dimensions like you see.
what powerlines??!!
Should use stainless bolts.
Good idea, maybe next time!
Hoping for the best for Phil Robertson and family.
I think Phil was diagnosed with Alzheimer's
oh no!
You should have saved a couple of those nuts and bolts put on that other flange
Wade in with long stick in front of you bud
I'd save that pump. I'll bet there's just sand stopping the impellor.
Aaron doesnt throw anything away, trust me......
Good morning from COLD as f**k Minnesota

weird, these stopped hitting my feed. playing in the swamp here would make you gator bait.
Nothing worse than a hole in your hip waders
Watch out for those gators
