All around good, eh? Very, very good coverage, man! I hope Kalif is a lifer with us. So many good connections. A difference maker. ❤️❤️❤️ this guy!
Is Derrick Barnes still with us? I don't hear much about him. After making that startling interception last year, he got my attention big time. Loved Coach Campbell's reaction, back then.
(Does, you may recall how desirous I was, back when, of Brandin Cooks. Very good with New England and the Rams!)

We need to invest picks in our O-line. We cant pay them all top dollar and keep the rest of our guys. If we dont do something, were gonna have an old, not very good line in a few years. Thats a huge part of our offense.

I think Brad Holmes will always focus on the offensive line. First via the draft, but remember the draft strategy is always “best player available”. When that doesn’t work out, he will plug holes via trade and free agency. In Brad I Trust. Go Lions!

If laporta, amonra are so good against man coverage why did we struggle against primarily man coverage teams last year ?

Nobody to take the top off. Jamo was non existent. I don't believe that will be the case this year

Very good look at the "Lions way" of drafting and developing players. If the Lions bring you in, you will be given an opportunity to compete for a spot.

It helps that most the players they bring are good to great. Im blown away at how good they identify talent then use it appropriately.

@@florida1289 Me too. That was never how the Lions did it. They drafted poorly and then moved on when it didn't work. Player development was never their strength. Sure they hit on a few, but far too few to turn things around. The current coaches will give a pick time to develop and they work with players. Not every pick has been perfect, but most of them are still on the team. Many are becoming players that other teams will want if the Lions can't find a way to keep them when thier contracts are up. I would love to be on the inside of all this and see what they are saying and doing that we punters have no clue about.
