Glad he met Adam ..a great example of someone who was the front runner all the way and it got snatched away at the last moment … and if he had won he would have been under contract and not able to take advantage of all the wonderful opportunities which came up later. American Idol is a lengthy audition in front of the world .

Lionel has been disgusting. What he said to him tonight was awful. And all his moaning and growing has to stop. They need to cut off his mike.
@@StephanieStone4737 I agree that he needs more stage presence, especially for a song like this. He has a great voice, but it seemed he was stuck behind the mic. Also, what did Lionel say bad, he was telling he needed to get more into it, more gritty and down into the song. I would love for him to come away from the mic and then have this cut out acapella part that really got the audience pumped up. After last week, he’s in my top 5 and he’s a country boy with a stellar voice. He’s not going anymore for a minute.
@@jacobmccain8794 I disagree. He has plenty of stage presence. He doesn’t need to be flashy or “nasty”, whatever that is even supposed to mean. Colin’s supporters love him exactly how he is-he is authentic country/southern rock, and he has self-control. Some of the people in this contest have flashy clothing and can work the crowd, but their vocals are not nearly as good as Colin’s. Look at the people who have been sent home who have had the flashiest costumes on stage and were great at putting on a show. I just love him the way that he is 💙
I agree with several people on here, he has more than enough stage presence. He is awesome, very very talented. The judges suck suck suck when they judge him. They are critical of him, way more than to the others. There were several tonight that I thought took a back seat to his performance and yet they praised them. You three judges have no clue what you are talking about. And Lionel says to get nasty? WTF, he is out of his mind. Colin is great the way he is. He DOES NOT need a nasty side when he has a talented and very natural talent. They keep trying their hardest to bring his confidence down. He shouldn’t listen to them, they don’t decide his fate at this point. The votes speak for themselves. Obviously the voters think the same way I do, he made it to the top 10. Judges, you suck!

The problem is that once you've reached a certain level, you need to overcome it every time. From now on, every performance of him will be compared with "Dancing on my own". He needs super good songs, with a huge impact, otherwise he won't win. It will be a pitty, because he really deserves it.
