A bit more recently, maybe 3 or 4 years back, I was doing the Challenge Series, when I heard one of the cops say: "Suspect is approaching spike belt." That specific dialogue was apparently supposed to be cut from the final game as well. Pretty weird.

Could have been a typo by EA since the Cayman was a new car released around that time as the Cayenne came out a couple years prior and they have similar names
I remember having a gaming magazine in 04/05 that had a NFSMW poster or article (can't remember which) with the alpha red BMW and the old alpha logo, it looked so cool.
I'd like to point out that the alpha license plate was a partial recreation - I took the alpha plate with no text (which can be seen on the red M3 GTR in this video) and added the text. It's a recreation of a license plate seen on some traffic truck. It had its own license plate in its textures, but its quality was very low.

Man I found a beta unused cut-scene in the "Movies" folder of the game directory! In the cut-scene, Mia comes out from a police station and get in your car, and give you some information about Rape Sheet (or something). In the cut-scene, Razor was also included and try to steal some of the rape sheet information of Player, but Mia stopped him to do it by closing the windows of the car. That was a small cut-scene, that I never seen in the whole storyline of the game. Probably it was removed, but the video file still exists in the "Movies" folder of the game's directory. Check it out yourself!
