Good one. I like it when the story isn't so heavily focused on the shrewish 304. It's nice to see the focus on the comeback and redemption of the victim.
David let his little head do his thinking for his big head. Cathy was a walking red flag from the first moment he met her to the very end. Everything he went through was Davids own fault. At least he did come out ok in the end.
I am not 20 minutes into this story. All I can say is when someone tells/shows you who they really are BELIEVE THEM!!!!!!!!!! I know of a "Cathy" who is from a rather prominent Atlanta Family that for legal reasons I won't identify. Today this person would be about 60. I first met her while I was attending Georgia Tech. She went through several of my classmates over the time I was attending GT. I can't get too deep into the things she did because to do so I would get this comment removed. Just know she was human trash. I was just a poor dumb country boy to her so I was not somebody she went after. I do know she destroyed the son of a Macon Attorney over some false allegations. That guy was forced to drop out of GT and he finally was able to get in at Virginia Tech his mom's alma mater. Sometime around the year 2000 she finally hit her Waterloo and her family was not able to help her. Last I heard she was living near Charleston SC and not doing well. The blowback from her actions in 2000 was so bad it cost her family a lot of money and public humiliation. I can't get confirmation, but I have been told she is living with a man who openly cheats on her.
I blame the man in the story because how many times did he have to ask this woman to marry him she had no intentions of slowing down or settling down. He was acting like a puppy asking for a treat.
David was stupid to even propose to Cathy's crazy butt. She showed him who she really was, and he let it slide. Then he hears making plans while they are on vacation. She leaves him while on vacation, and he stays. Clearly, he doesn't use his brain. Her people weren't even worried about her, that should've been his first clue she left him
The story of....cinderella? Except its from the prince's perspective. Its good story. Small town girl who is loyal. And then theres small town girl who isnt loyal. The story balance it well.
Another one for the books LLC! I hate it when I hear that " dear listeners...' sentence because that's the end of a great story. Happy to be subscriber and please keep up the good work❤😊
His first impression was correct. His scolding of her behavior in response to her inappropriate slander at the meeting was correct. His performance and acceptance of his high value at the meeting was correct. Believe people when they show you who they are. When she played games to get his attention at the end of the meeting, he should have seen it for what it was, and shut her down completely and left the meeting room. For as long as they would be on a project together, he would remain polite and professional. He could have avoided all of the stress, betrayal, and wasted time, talent, treasure, and energy, expended on this immature narcissist. The rant in the intro...she should have loved him so much that she wanted to be with him. Instead, she was attacking him for wanting her to be with him. Guys, your internal warning systems catch these red flags. Stop ignoring them!
This guy is annoying watching Patricia get abused and used for literally months was just pathetic. And really takes her for an evening out and buys a dress but doesn't get her makeup or hair done.....yeah right 😂❤ And the fact he didn't do shit while his girlfriend was accosted shows his lack of assertiveness. Starlight lounge what a stupid name 😂❤️
This was a nice story. I would’ve liked to see a big reveal at the end for the stupid ex to see the life she missed out on. There was also some confusion regarding the club location. They have a farm in Missouri but made it to drinks and dancing in New York and back in the morning, after driving his truck? Maybe I misheard… Great otherwise! Loved it 👍
@@tetedebique4666 well, maybe years later she could have been dragged to a fishing trip by a middle class guy and they end up in one of the cabins where she has a terrible time, every time he takes her and then she sees the growing fam… that kind of epilogue would have nailed it.
@@tetedebique4666 you know she is not real right? This is just a story? And that as a story, this final blow is needed or it’s not getting the author noticed as a serious writer…
Sadly, I dealt with this issue with my 1st wife. We had a child, so I ignorantly stayed. After she had cheated for over a year behind my back, I brought my affairs home for her to watch; so as to punish her. Not gonna lie, I was an a$$hole about it. After 5 years, we agreed to a divorce. During our seperation, she got pregnant by another man. I live in Michigan, so sadly I had to pay 19 years of child support on that spawn even though I had DNA evidence he wasn't mine. Michigan is a womans state. A couple years after our divorce, I met another woman. She knew my story and I told her I had a zero tolerance policy on cheating, she agreed and we got married a year later. 6 months after that, her youngest son let something slip and I confronted her about it. At first she denied, but then she finally told me he was her old school sweetheart. I left the state 12 hours later and had my marriage annulled. I have been single since, except for a few hookups through the years. This was almost 20 years ago.
This guy is a VP at his company? With how he handles his fiance, let's hope his business acumen is better than his relationship acumen. Listening to him navigate figuring out what's going on, Is painful. She's an a-hole, he sure didn't help himself though. I understand he got revenge on his ex-fiance, however, he could have avoided himself a bunch of pain if he had paid more attention when her cheating was going on. The amount of disrespect she showed him, was painful to listen to.
VP just means you head a division and got that from his degree at Wharton. He was obviously headhunted right out of school , rose quickly in a very small division, but generally hated NY skanks, so what did he do wrong? What should he have done that would have made his life any better than the one he built?
@@SuspiciousActivity871 "... but generally hated NY skanks, so what did he do wrong?" Can't tell if you're trolling, if not, I'll try to answer. I think you may have answered your own question, but if it's unclear, he dated and got engaged to a "NY skank".

Great story! If you want a moral woman get away from the big city gold digging trollops. One day though, things are going to get rough in those cities. Chad and Tyrone won’t stand a chance.
The thing is if they own a third of the company they are due a third of the prophets since day one which probably comes to more than the value of the other two thirds of the business
Nice. Most of my happiest times have been in small southern town/ cities hundreds of mile from the big cities in the north. Thank God for the slower country life. That give me the peace in my heart that is so graceful needed.
This one started out exciting and thought it was gonna be another banger, but turned out to be kinda boring, but a feel-good story, so worth the listen.🫠

Over the years I’ve found that old saying “Love is blind” is factual 99.9% of the time, but a lot of stupid people never learn from past mistakes.
Fiancé treats you like crap, and you’re still with her. Run, don’t walk.
ALWAYS, listen to your gut! A 304 is not a wife! So glad he found a true heart!
You need a feel good story every now and then to soothe the soul!
Great Story, loved the presentation and the ending was superb. Thank you. Five stars.! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Another 2 plus hour upload! Thanks LLC
Awe, man. David found his little slice of heaven on earth. That's the dream.
My kind of a story
I feel David’s pain I wish I would’ve listen to friends before I got married now I regret it but life goes on
Story says he doesn’t put up with her crap but yet puts up with all her crap smh
I gotta ask the question! Wasn't the marriage proposals big *Red Flags!!* ...
