Terrific video! Thanks for sharing this practical knowledge so generously. I am keen to get out on my kayak, and this looks like a perfect place to start.
Glad it was helpful! Yes Altona is great for kayak fishing because you don't have to paddle out to far to get amongst the action. The other good location with a short paddle is Werribee beach too, great spot for flathead and squid. Cheers, and thanks for watching. Rob
Cheers Nenad, if you’ve got a location you’d like me to cover let me know, any other ideas you’d love to see me cover let me know. Thanks for watching 👍
I'll be watching this again when I finally get a chance to get down there. Great video & series buddy. Would love to see more on the east side of the bay but guessing you are not from this end.
Hi mate thanks for watching. My PB at flemings is 75cm on dusk, hot December night, full pilchard on unweighted twin snell rig using 5/0 circle hooks , late in the run in tide. 😁 Reel was screaming.
Yes good spot around flemings pool rocks, plenty of salmon and snapper in the late evenings on the high tide buddy. The rocks around Williamstown better though for spearfishing. Cheers
@@hookinmouthtackle8508 I've been there on Sunday, there is a sign "member parking only". I parked there still, no one stopped me but I feel quite uncomfortable :). Maybe I should park by the boat ramp next time
Wonderful guy Actually , he tell us where to put (location), your kayak on the water, then he gives up any location worth of fishing in the area. Many others they playing with words like : east bay or north channel or westish port! or subscribe and we ll tell you more!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the kind words buddy, appreciated! it normally takes ages to work out how to fish a new spot. With this series I was just trying to share my knowledge in order to save others time. There is plenty of fish in the sea as long as we all fish sustainably. :)

@@hookinmouthtackle8508 i go all the time to Williamstown. I am looking for different spot. thanks
nice, is the parking free by the yacht club? or it is only for member?
No it is free parking, however there might be a time limit? But I don’t recall any signs there stating that
@@hookinmouthtackle8508 I've been there on Sunday, there is a sign "member parking only". I parked there still, no one stopped me but I feel quite uncomfortable :). Maybe I should park by the boat ramp next time
It’s a public road managed by council, unless you park beyond the gate.
@@hookinmouthtackle8508 great to know, it is now my favorite spot
@@HarryDK yeah the opportunity’s for a mixed bag in that spot are good
Does that mean it has taken you 40 years to work out you have been fishing in Altona for 40 years, Well done Bro>>
