Nice clean completion on this, feeds excellently at high ROF. That cage angle adjustment linkage is super cool, I had no idea that feature was even there on seeing that device.
That adjustable spray diameter on the triple headed monstrosity is brilliant and hysterical all at the same time. Cerberus would be a good name for it.
Holy balls (pun intended) that tri-wheel system is insanity! Would love to do a "Shooting ____ as fast as possible" with it. Very interesting choice to have Pip be the 'brains' of the system, but a cool way of doing it so there's no secondary thing to hold, or having to mess with the pack itself. Design of the pack looks really nice, too!
Moving full control to Pip not only eliminates the need for an additional Arduino in Pak but also hands it the ability to independently run the blower or agitator as well as adjust the power of the blower. That coupled with an intelligence of how fast and consistent balls are running through the blaster opens up the potential for automatic power saving techniques down the line.
Good to see you're back. P&P looks and sounds great, I didn't hear any of the stutter which you normally get with hopper blasters. Name suggestion for the three-hose-blaster:"hailstorm"
Very cool! Have you considered a soft pack for the protonpack? Seems like the blower unit could fit at the bottom of a medium sized backpack, which would be much more comfortable to wear.
Blower systems like this are a pressurized system. Air needs to come in, fill the tank with as little leakage as possible and go out the hose. I suppose a semi rigid bladder of sorts would work but solid is better.
@@projectfdl6831 I see. I thought the blower created a small vortex at the bottom. I didn't realize the whole sytem was pressurized. If you wanted to experiment with soft packs - maybe one of those dry bags would work - the rubberized material that you have to fold over a few times to close.
You know what I could see coming out of this type of backpack blaster? With that triple barreled one I could see either a plasma caster or Gatling laser from the fallout series. For non fallout fans, they’re basically huge plasma/ laser cannons held juggernaut style. Oh boy the potential if one has time on their hands to make a shell big enough for both the pack and the blaster. Sprtel-wood 9700 (special version of the Gatling laser in game) here I come! (I wish)
Omg this looks absolutely amazing in every way, I absolutely want to buy one when its available. Also will the a adapter to hook the pack to the H.I.R fdl 3. Once again look amazing 👏 excellent work!
Thank you! Pip n Pak are really meant to be used together. I considered making it compatible with the FDL-3 but the electronics would have to be hacked a fair amount and the way Pip feeds is way more efficient and reliable.
@@projectfdl6831, if a less-efficient feeding system is the price to pay for the ability to use the Pack with blasters from our own workbench...I'd pay it, and I think more than a few of us would say the same. Besides: what if Pip breaks? Are we then left with a Pack we can't use anymore?
@@MishraArtificer you're coming at this from one of two angles. Either you have an HIR FDL-3, which is pretty unlikely since there are so few of them after so many people said "I'd pay it", or you want to put some other blaster on Pak. If you're the first, you should put a short dart nose on that blaster and just use Pip. If you're the second you should just use Pip. If it breaks, you fix it like a blown tire on a car. I have no interest in downgrading or changing my designs to placate sales.
Nice work on Pak and Pip is dang impressive
This is one of my favorite videos

The motors look so nice!
This is the exact thing I've been wanting since the hir nose was released!!! Please let me throw money at you, I NEED this
Guys, this is sick! I had to go tell Trenton he needed to watch it and the turkey said he already had at lunch today. Go Project FDL!
So happy for your guys!

First awesome
I feel bad for the other parents on Career day

Just frickin' wow!
Amazing video. Can't wait till this is available. Question, how much and capacity?
Also can u adjust pip's fps, like u can on a regular fdl
@@Taj2673 about 350 in the tank size shown. Yep, fps is adjustable just like an FDL. We don't have pricing figured out yet.

Aww yeah
will Pip n Pak be open source like the Fdl3?
So upgrading the FDL-3 with countersunk hardware like you mentioned and the new motors and a single board designs? I call dibs on that FDL-4
Great Design!
AMAZING!!!
So epic! XD

Really like the blue filament used on pip and pack. What type of filament is it?(color and brand)
I am Japanese. I am looking forward to FDL-3. Good luck ☺️
please take my money this is awesome
i hope these are for sale
I think the slime blower from ghostbusters 2 would look amazing, plus hold a ton of rounds. Looks great
Great idea
What’s the approximate capacity?
Are you going to realece files
Well I'm sold. How much $
so it's a brushless Jupiter that includes a proton pack? Just kidding bro it looks sick
yes yes yes
Might I suggest the name, "Tri-rannosaurus Rex?" for the mostly-unnamed monstrosity?
Love it!
what about tri fighter
Sounds like a woodpecker
you should call the monstrosity the tri fighter
Hej
Thank you for approving me on face book
I know what I'm using my stimulus check for
I’m going to say that freecad isn’t the worst cad.
